I did explain the problem of expediting by the bank and i said the transaction history is the best I could do since my statement does not close till the 5th of Nov and I needed to send in my stuff by Monday. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

maintenance funds

Post by wahedq » Sat Nov 01, 2008 2:49 pm

Thank you for all sharing the valuable information

I am planning to apply for tier 1 general and have a few qestions that I hope would get answered here.

I have a BOA account, however my base account is in GA and just moved to CT, now if I have to show my funds i think i have to go back to GA where my account is...this seems impossible since I do no plan to travel there ..

Can I transfer my funds to local bank in CT and wait for 3 months and later apply for tier 1, which is the best bank to go for in this case?

also is it mandatory the account that you show needs to be salary account as I think I won't be able to make this new account as salary, what I can do is just transfer my funds to maintain minimum bal

thanks for all your help in this regard !

BoA account opened in any branches in US, you should be able to access from any other branches in US. Am I missing something here?

Thanks to everyone. I just received this email. I sincerely wish you all and those who are waiting "Com'n buddy! Smile please! You're next to get approval."
---------
Your visa has been issued.
Delivery times:
USA: Overnight
Bermuda, Bahamas, Central/South America and Caribbean:
- 2 days if you prepaid for Express service

-2-5 days for mail returned to the British Embassy/High Commission
---------
On 3rd Nov, I sent an email to them visa_complaintsNY@fco.gov.uk mentioning that it is now past the estimated processing time and please let me know the status of my application since this has impact my career plans (and I need to give notice to my current employer).
I am really not sure if this has made any difference, but cant ignore the chances too.
Best regards,
Mani
