Help me with the wording please! i try to understand!

UK-based family member
Your family member must be one of the following:

a British national
someone settled in the UK - for example, they have indefinite leave to remain, settled status or proof of permanent residence
someone from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland who has pre-settled status and started living in the UK before 1 January 2021
someone with refugee status or humanitarian protection in the UK

I have pre-settled status but i am ukrainian, my spouse is Estonian ! Are we eligible?

Usually when the Immigration rules define people with presettled status, it does not usually includes non-EEA national, it is actually referring to EEA national.

Non EEA national with PSS can actually sponsor no one.

I am so sorry FOR SPAM! I could not handle and called 5th time and manager assured me that my relatives are eligible. Now, I am in the situation to apply for them anyway! because i already created an application and lets see.

I asked why you put in the definition someone from EU with pre-settled status, she answered the meaning of that is people UNDER EU SETTLEMENT SCHEME who have pre-settled status.

my remark - It just does not make any sense for them only to allow EU citizens with pre-settled status to bring relatives because they don't have relatives in Ukraine almost at all. Though, It can be a tricky plan.

I have called paid helpline! To try to understand that how long will it take to process family permit for them, they said they escalate Ukrainian applications now. I believe they are eligible now.

It's a volunteer service put up by immigration solicitors to help in the middle of a humanitarian crisis. I don't think they stop replying because it's the weekend.

That being said, they are inundated with messages, so might not reply straight away. But if someone can point you in the right direction, that's them.

Hi Obie, unfortunately, they are so frightened and stressed that I am worried about their health..They just became homeless without income etc.. That's why I fight for each minute to see them!


As I said, I have emailed that email adress https://advice-ukraine.co.uk/ which was provided by kamoe. They said my relatives are eligible and applications should be successful.
