Would appreciate help on following please.

Whilst completing ILR partner visa there is the following questions:

Do you have any friends in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?

Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
(Required)
This could include social networks or connections to any of these countries

My spouse has lived in UK for over 5 years but is the question aimed at her previous country of birth or does it include friends and social groups in UK too?
This is for their country of birth and any other country she has lived exceeding the stated period. It is not a trick question and should be answered truthfully.

Passed B1 IELTS life skills speaking and listening in 08/2020. Used this for spouse extension visa.
The certificate says CEFR level - B1

Can it also be used for indefinite leave to remain application or is a new one needed now it has been 3 years?
It can be used for your ILR and naturalisation applications.

Thank you but has it not expired as the test was done 3 years ago?

It was done at Manchester.

I have but no one is showing where it says you can use a B1 certificate from 3 years ago. I hear it is 2 year expiry and we used it for 2021 spouse extension visa thinking B1 could be reused for ILR but now I am worried....

It's stated on gov.uk website.
https://www.gov.uk/english-language/app ... ifications
Applying to settle in the UK
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if both of the following are true:

it’s on the current list of recognised tests
it was accepted for another UK immigration application, for example when you got permission to enter
Not a qualified immigration adviser. Use links and references given to gain confirmation and/or extra information.

thanks but I cannot find list which shows recognised tests for indefinite leave to remain. Also where does it actually say B1 expires in 2 years.

Literally, in the link that has been provided, is the link to the approved test and test centres under the first heading "Approved English language qualifications"!! Click on the relevant links within the link, and read the whole page, to the bottom!!

Re tests expiry and able to use again, also on the same link provided above, read the whole page.

Thanks have found following;

Approved test providers
If you are in the UK
You can only take a SELT with one of the following providers:

Trinity College London
IELTS SELT Consortium
LanguageCert
Pearson

Last time we did B1 life skills we did via Manchester (GBS07) booking it from normal IELTS website. Which of the 3 does that fit with above because it definetly wasn't trinity college London?

Help is much appreciated.

Can I check that on my certificate?
Sorry for these ques, we are worried that one incorrect certificate will mess up our whole application.

Also on the form it is only asking for time out of UK greater than 2 weeks. We have had trips for a week outside UK but seems strange that is not being asked for on an ILR application?

Sorry for these ques, we are worried that one incorrect certificate will mess up our whole application. Links from gov.uk shown to you and you were literally lead line by line to where it is stated. While do understand you could be worried but what else can be done to assuage your worries besides what's done already??? It's up to you now.

Also on the form it is only asking for time out of UK greater than 2 weeks. We have had trips for a week outside UK but seems strange that is not being asked for on an ILR application? Answer what the form asks; none of your time out of UK is greater than 2 weeks then leave it out.

There is a question on form about when we statted living together. Is this related to UK?

When we got married we were staying together for 2 weeks before my partner left to UK and then applied for initial visa clearance

Living together will be in the UK.

There is no additional note section after this question. Simply asks that qu then moves to what address in UK

thank you that is noted.

What date does the employer confirmation letter need to be done for (e.g. is it 28 days from date of application). Planning to submit online application in a couple of weeks. Is there a date for bank statements too, e.g. they need to be within 28 days date of submitting application online?

Up to 28 days prior to the application date, which is when you submit your application online.

Thanks to you and Zimba.

Is all evidence needed within 28 days prior to application?

So say I submitted my application on 10th September, every single piece needs to be before?

What if any of evidence is obtained after 10th September like bank statements?
