Thanks a lot. I have couple of more question- I would really appreciate if you can help me with those.

1. In the form where it asked that "For either the UK or any other country, have you ever been:

Refused a visa
Refused entry at the border
Refused permission to stay or remain
Refused asylum
Deported
Removed
Required to leave
Excluded or banned from entry

I have put "No" in it, since my partner doesn't have any previous refusals, also the Stage 2 GTV rejection hasn't come yet. Do you think I am correct to fill "No" for this question.

2. My partner and I are living in UK for last 3 years at same address. We had our name in leases as well. However, last year she was in EU for 6 months due to work secondement and assignments (beween Apr 2023 - June 2023 and between Oct 2023 - Dec 2023). Where its askin for "Have you lived with your partner continuously for 2 years?" So, should I just say Yes or should I say No and explain it. She will get a letter from her previous employer to confirm this.

thanks.

1. It is ok
2. You should say YES. Temporary changes do not matter

Thanks again. Apologies in adavnce for askin a lot of question. I have few more:

1. For cohabitation of last 2 years, i know we need to show 6 joint documents from 3 sources or 12 individual or mix. In our joint name, we only have Tenancy agreement for past 2 years and Joint bank account. So, I can show 4 documents of 2 each of the 2 different source. For individual, we are showing 4 documents from 2 different sources in just my partner's name (Applicant) and 4 documents from 2 different source in just my name (Sponsor). Is it enough? or do I need to show cohabitation documents from before July 2022.

2. Since my partner and I have been in relationship for last 5years but have been living together in UK for last 3 years only. Should I show the evidence to show of the relationship for last 5 years or just show the evidence other than cohabitation such as chats, photos, travel tickets of holidays etc from the last 2 years?

Thanks again.

1. There is no specific evidence. Just cover the last 2 years. All you need to know about cohabitation evidence

2. No need to send anything

Thanks again. Earlier I was thinking to mention in the cover letter that we have been together for last 5 years and how we met etc. Should I not mention that as well and keep it simple by just providing the cohabitation documents?

I have few more question:

We moved to a our current house in August 2022, so basically we lived in the current house for 1 year 11 months. In the documents checklist - they are asking for "Evidence of council tax costs for the accommodation in the UK where you live or will live" - I am providing the Tenancy agreement and council tax bill for this house but should I also show the council tax for July 2022 (for 1 month)? My partner arrived to UK when I was already living in that house and we didn't add her name in the tenancy agreement when she arrived , so the council tax bill from the previous place is in my name only. But we have other proofs such as bank statements and GP letter in my partner's name.

Please do NOT invent your own requirements. You do not need this

Stick to the advice already given. Document checklist on cohabitation just mentions some examples of what you can send BUT there are no specific requirements under the immigration rules. You are overthinking this whole thing, just stick to the advice given above and stick to the immigration rules on this

Hi,

My girlfriend got her visa approval decision this week. Thanks a lot for all the advice.

I wanted to know the application fees and IHS we paid during her application for GTV stage 2, how to get it back? Will they refund it automatically or should I have to contact them? My girlfriend didn't go for the biometrics for the GTV stage 2 - so, we will not get a rejection decision on it.

Thanks,
