1. The date of the application is the date it is submitted online but that is not critical when calculating your qualifying period for ILR. I provided detailed explanation on this before:
Applicants can benefit from the date of the ILR decision
2. We are talking strictly about how your qualifying period is calculated above, NOT anything else. Any dated document will have to be based on the application date ONLY. So for example an employer letter must dated within 28 days of your application date.
3. Again covered before:

I'm applying for ILR from being on a skiller worker visa for the last 5 years.
I've read this document (
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... worker.pdf) about the requirements from the employer.
Could someone confirm whether this format would be ok?
In support of the application for Indefinite Leave to Remain for x, I can confirm that:
- x has been employed on a Skilled Worker Visa with the company since 2019. His last Certificate of Sponsorship is attached. The occupation code for his role remains the same: 2137 Web design and development professionals.
- All periods of absence from work were approved by the company.
- x will be required by the company to work for the foreseeable future. Their current salary is £y per annum.

Hi,
I am using the same SOC for my visa. Please note that in April the 2010 codes were replaced by 2020 and at the moment 2137 has nothing to do with our specialisation. The new code must be used - 2134, 2139 or 2141. You will need to match this with your responsibilities, the COS description of your responsibilities and apply the most relevant code in your letter from the employer.

I can see now that your response had moved on to page 2 of the replies, and I hadn't realised there were more replies other than page 1, so it looked like no-one had replied.
I do find the user interface on this website quite difficult to navigate at time!

Ok - hope this is in the right place.
My previous CoS code (done in 2019, then extended in 2022) was 2137 Web design and development professionals. . This is on my last certificate of sponsorship.
I am busy with my ILR application at the moment, and it asks what my SoC code is.
However, when looking at the new codes, my role clearly fits into 2134, and not 2137.
Should I put the old one (on my current CoS) or the new one?
My salary does meet the expectations for both of them.

It seems your role fits 2141 in the SOC 2020 list rather than 2134

Well, whichever one it is - what should I put on my application, the one on on my existing certificate, or what I think is my new code?
Or should I ask my company to update the code on the sponsor management platform?

You need to find the 2020 equivalent SOC. This determines the salary level needed to satisfy the ILR requirements. You better ask the sponsor for help but note they do NOT need to allocate you a new SOC. They only need to help you figure out what is your equivalent SOC now

You have been advised above on what to do. A UK born child does NOT need a valid visa to register as British on form MN1. Once the visa expires though, the child is not entitled to free NHS service, so plan accordingly and get medical insurance as you will be charged 150% of the cost for using NHS. Whether you apply before or after the childs visa expires is irrelevant. A citizenship application is not an immigration application so submitting a form MN1 application does not 'extend' her visa while the application is being processed.
