You're right. The rules have tightened up with HSMP and I need to study them more  . I have edited my last post accordingly. Thanks for the correction.
Joseph
I mailed the review application alongwith the documents i had initially sent with the original application i.e. no new documents (and i clearly mentioned the same in the review application :D).

I will give one week for the courier, two for them to re-process and contact them in the fourth week from today. Hopefully they would have decided by then.

Yes Joseph, if i am refused again i will apply with a fresh application and ammended documents.

In my review application, i have re-claimed points for income, experience and specialist role.

One last thing. ever since july last, i never thought that i would be refused.for me, the case was always simple and straight forward. it seems though that things are not so simple with these hsmp guys. good times are gone by for that matter :D . i remember people saying (on this very forum) that they have been contacted by hsmp people for additional information. it doesnt happen anymore so every one please be careful.

Best Regards

Will be applying for EC

Post by nomanlodhi » Sat Oct 08, 2005 8:20 pm

Dear All

My review application was approved on August 23 (in two months) and now i am going to apply for EC, hopefully by the end of next week. I have arround GBP 6,000 in my bank at the moment, made arrangements for stay over there and started applying for job as well.On getting the visa, i plan to move to the uk early/mid next month.

I wish every one else good luck with their applications.

Now, can any one tell me that other than London which cities are suitable for an accounting/finance person from a healthy job market view point??? And major commercial cities in Scotland???

regards

Your appeal was approved? How did they reconsider your points?
