It just means that it was received, which means you are free to leave the country. It says nothing about status in the queue.

jow was your experience?
have u recd. acknowledgement letter?
when was the money debitted?
did the NCS centre give u any indications of the trends in recent weeks?
why dont we keep track of the progress to see the processing time trends now?

Hi yorkking,

I think I replied to most of your questions in my earlier post. I still have not received my acknowledgement letter, but as the fee was debited from my account, I know they have my application. I was told during my NCS appointment that it could take 10-14 working days just to receive the acknowledgement letter, so I'm not concerned yet. Curiously however, in another thread on here someone who sent their application in after me reported receiving the acknowledgement letter within a couple days after they sent their application in via NCS, so I am curious why I haven't received a letter yet.
