they never do any verification on original documents. As they all relay on original docs. I wish they will do verifications on doc so it helps to reduce of visa refusal. As they refused my wife visa based on my bank statement is 4 days old if they verify it so they must satisfy. anyway dnt worry abt any verification and cross check mostly they do on students visa

i believe they do. there are certain docs and videos available over the www showing the working of UK BHCs. there are people who have also confirmed that verifications of their submitted proofs were done. my point was: are verifications done when the passport status is: Islamabad OC or when the status is BHC?

yes as i said they do but in main applicants for example Students. They must verify all documents of students, HSMP/TIER 1 (G) or Work permit. but they dont do on visits visa or dependents visa as they relay on original documents.

For Tier 1 (G) visa they must verify ur educational documents and last 1 yr earning from ur bank. so it good to attest all ur educational document from HEC.

as it wasnt spelled out at UKBA nor on UKVACPK websites, i didnt submit verified degrees from HEC

Not a requirement. I submitted my degree w/o HEC verification and was through.

The status of my dependents application has been changed from "Application sent to Islamabad OC" to "Processed Application returned to AC". Please advise if you have any idea regarding this new status update.
The application date is 10-08-2010.

Alhamdullilah I got my docs back yest with visa.

Passport Ready for Collection / Collected: 23 Aug 10

My wife and kids case is through as well. It was really fast.

Thanks to the forum for such a wonderful help. I used to meticulously go through all the refusal cases and this helped a lot to prepare my case well.
