Still the same. Under Process at British High Commission. Anyways I should be expecting the least as I applied the last of you all on 22nd Dec.

Ajit Thanks for the update....i expect we all should get an response in next week for sure....hope thy are back from holidays n as per indicated processing times also thy will process Mumbai applications now onwards.....

Visa processing rate in Mumbai seems to be the slowest compared to other cities here. I had applied on 21st Dec, still the status remains the same - application forwarded to BHC. Hope to see a changed status today.

Mumbaikars....keep the forum posted on any further visa updates.

Fingers crossed for a positive result :roll:

Mark ....status remains still the same....usually status update happens in afternoon or in evening.....so its gona be wait n watch for all of us till that time.....hope to be lucky today :)

The worst part is that BHC is not giving any updates. Everytime I contact them they say the same thing that it is under process.
The wait is killing me.....

Problem is we are calling VFS and not BHC as they dont have any kind of customer service etc....

VFS also check the system what we check for online status check so ultimatly we end up getting the same status.

hope to get an update soon.....

Pune Applicant

I applied from Pune on Dec 3rd, 2010. It shows 'processing', intrestingly there is a user on this forum sp2010 who applied on Dec 16th at Pune and got his visa on Jan 6th or 7th. I am not sure how this person got his visa when the application quota was over on Dec 7th.

I also believe that Pune applications go to BHC Mumbai.

I am getting tense as I have a offer in hand and my employer wants me to join latest by Feb 1, 2011

God help me :oops:

He received his visa in January, not December when the limit was reached.

Be patient - they might be having difficulty verifying information (e.g. difficulty in contacting employers / university or bank) - not all applications take the same amount of time.

Dont worry we all will get visa for sure...usually rejections are informed in advance....

I have seen a person who applied on 3rd dec and got rejection on 15th Dec it self.....

its just the processing delay and in some case delay due to random verification requirement......eventually we all will get visa for sure...

I am also applied on 24 th Nov from VFS hyderabad. My status still shows "Under process at BHC".

UKBA systems update

I read on the VFS UAE website that between Jan 6 and 11 there will be delays in issuing visa's as there is a UKBA systems upgrade....I would think that this is a common online system and maybe the reason for the delays...
