why did it come at diffrente time
didnt you apply in the same time?
and can you please share the timeline ...whene did you send the applications and whene did you received COA etc..

Yes, we did apply at the same time, i phoned Home Office today and they say its normal that EEA1 is generally quicker than EEA2.
I applied on 22-Dec-10 for both EEA1 and EEA2
31-Jan-11 received 1st COA which stated can't determine right to work
sent it back to them in first week of feb asking for another one
received correct COA first week of march, dated 16-Feb
received EEA1 for my wife today, 15-Mar dated 8-mar-11

Now waiting for my EEA2.
