Congrats to all...I feel silly now for predicting 45 points. It just goes to show even the top lawyer/immigration experts were just as unsure as we were. I don't know what happened this month for such a decline in the minimum points, but I'm glad most people have got a positive outcome. Good luck to all that are still waiting.

Very warm congratulations to all the successful candidates out there!! I'm feeling really happy for you all and heartily wish the very best of luck to all the left overs to be successful next month.

I had 40 points but my employer didn't apply for me in August after facing June & July rejection.

Still awaiting result @50. The employer said yesterday that they couldn't see anything in the SMS . Worried now , as last week home office had asked them more details on my application. Not sure how many days more they are going to take to update the SMS with the COS result :-( .
Fingers Crossed.

Is it just me or is there some delay in them being released this time around? As in not all are released at once?

I guess they don't release all the result at once. They have to update the sms with the result within 5 working days.
we just have to wait , wait and wait :-(

Hi Seniors,

Quick query

My SOC code is 2314 ( under shortage occupation list )

It says the following: on the Shortage occupation list

2314 - secondary education teachers in the subjects of maths and science (chemistry and physics only)

does it mean Secondary Education Teachers in Maths AND Science ( OR ) Maths OR Science

If I have to be specialist in both maths and science then i wouldnt be able to prove with my degree which is in Maths.

I assume as long as I have a degree in maths and offered a job in Maths I should be fine.

Can some confirm this please?

also is their any specific Job description my employer has to input while they are making the RCOS application on the SMS?

Please help

Regards,

Most likely just Maths or Science. Generally secondary teachers will focus on/teach one subject.

However, you're best off asking some sort of official source about this, as the definitions can sometimes be a bit wonky.

Can someone please help me in a technical question ?

My rcos got accepted yesterday and now I have to apply for visa now. My previous tier 2 was valid from november 11 to sept 2014 but I left my previous job in january 2014 and left uk. The only proof of me not being in UK is the entry stamp on my passport of entering my home country.

Technically my 12 months cooling off period is over. Should I apply now or wait till 30th september 2015 ??

Hi,
I would say wait until Sept 2015 and then apply to avoid all confusions as your new Rcos should has 3 months validity.
Even though if you apply before sept that should not be a problem. You better contact your HR

Lets say I apply now and visa gets rejected. Can I apply again after september using same rcos ?

Congratulations to all!! Genuinely happy for all of us - mine was also granted at 40.

Anyone on the same boat creating our part of the online application? Is this the calculator to know the points we are applying with? All of these points are confusing. But according to my understanding, the 40, 39, 36 whatever points we had that had our application granted are different from the points we have to put on our online application. Does anyone know if this is the correct calculator we use? If so looks like 70 points are the minimum requirement.

Yes. 70 points are different from rcos points of 40. You need to score 70 points to submit application.

Anyone else still waiting?

I'm at 37 points, and I've seen here applications as low as 36 are approved. How long is this supposed to take?

Just really nerve-wracking having to wait even longer for a decision to be made.

Hopefully tomorrow is the day, any insight or info would be appreciated.

I think anyone still waiting for result is because their application may be being held by ukba for further information.
