If any one could help me,I received my Evetting invitation form two days ago, just filled and signed back yesterday , Just wondering did I have to send my proof of Identity to them or not.

Some good news, I completed my e vetting in October (it was requested in September)

And today I got the letter to pay online the 950€! I can't begin to explain the relief I felt seeing the letter today, and next step after this is to receive the certificate of naturalisation- after I pay and they process everything (could take 6 weeks)

I originally applied in November 2019.

Where does it says you have to send IRP?
So you can't travel anywhere from now until you get the cert then the passport ?

My approval letter say. I have to uploaded there online portal. Copy of IRP , passport size pic & my country passport front page.
They not tell to send me original IRP. so I keep original.
And declaration sign from
Lawyer. Return to them.

Hi there I wasn't asked to send proof of identity with the form, so I didn't. I wouldn't worry! As long as you filled out the form it'll be ok

Hi there I wasn't asked to send proof of identity with the form, so I didn't. I wouldn't worry! As long as you filled out the form it'll be ok

Just to confirm that you can travel with your current IRP and any thing in declaration form doesn't block you travel outside Ireland using your current IRP card.

You only need to send what they requested in the Garda e-vetting letter. In my case, all I had to do was fill out and sign the form that granted them permission to conduct the e-vetting and send that.

Scanned copy of the biometric page of current passport.
Scanned copy of front and back of your current in-date IRP/GNIB card or a scanned copy of your in-date permission stamp in your passport.
No, they didn't ask to send back original GNIB card.

After I completed my e-vetting, I communicated with citizenship department and they asked me to send my IRP as well to obtain certificate.
