Wow, congrats buddy. That sounds like a huge relief rather than waiting for each and every information to come one by one. Did you not receive any approval information either till now? Just asking coz I haven't heard anything since I gave my biometrics. Hope things speed up for me too.

Cheers and congrats.

I ask myself, how you managed your application to get delivered on the same day that you made your application. Also, getting your request to take Biometric within 24 hours? Are you related to the Prime Minister?

Just wondering... Congrats anyway...

I applied much later (16 Jan 2013), got my Biometric test letter on 31st. You need to call and query, saying it has been more than 20 days.
Maybe they might help, try to be nice to them, if you find some nice and you are lucky, they can give you an update. I was told that there has been a backlog... Tel: 0870 606 7766, Option 4, then Option 1.

Goodluck...[/quote]

Thanks a lot I will give it a try :( I am sooo worried... All my papers were perfect and I have a royal mail tracking as well

Hi, As I mentioned above, I used "Priority Postal Service" for my application which was introduced in Oct,2012. (http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/media/global/ ... _2012).pdf). If you use online application, of course it is delivered in same day. However, you should submit your original document when you enroll your biometric information. Also, once your online application with priority postal service submitted they automatically send you "biometric invitation", so you will get it within 2 days.
Anyway, google it "priority postal service tier 2". you can get all information you need.. one more point is of course it costs you around 150 pounds more than usual application.. (not exact how much it is as my employer paid..)
Best Luck to you all.

And none of us knew about it. Well thanks for sharing the information. UKBA should highlight this option when a candidate makes an application.

My apologies, I had no clue that this service existed... It looks too perfect to be true. My apologies again, but I am sure going forward this will help many others. £150 to get a reply within 10 days is good. Thank you so much...well, am happy this conversation helped many others to speed up their application. Thank you :D

11. Date of biometrics enrolment: 31.Jan.2013
12. Date of approval:06.Feb.2013
13. Date of return of passport and other documents: 06.Feb.2013
14. Date (new) leave to remain valid from:19.Feb.2013
15. Date BRP received:pending (letter says within 7 days it will be delivered)

I used priority postal service on my case, it says I can hear from UKBA within 10 days.. and I got it in 9 days (including weekends). you should be able to enroll your biometric within 2 days after you get the invitation letter for. I did, and today got an approval letter.

Best luck to you guys all.

I ask myself, how you managed your application to get delivered on the same day that you made your application. Also, getting your request to take Biometric within 24 hours? Are you related to the Prime Minister?

Just wondering... Congrats anyway...

My apologies, I had no clue that this service existed... It looks too perfect to be true. My apologies again, but I am sure going forward this will help many others. £150 to get a reply within 10 days is good. Thank you so much...well, am happy this conversation helped many others to speed up their application. Thank you :D
No needs to be sorry for me at all. I am happy to be helpful to others as I get helps from this page as well :). Well, actually, after have been through the visa process with the service, I can say it is worth to try..
I just got an e-mail that my BRP is delivered today.
Best Luck to you all. all the bests.

there's no extra cost for priority postal service. as long as your solicitor is authorized by ukba to do your application through Priority Postal Service..

So you have to use a solicitor to do the priority postal service? I was surprised to see anything about this today and it seems that a lot of us on here have never heard anything about it. My life at the moment would be a whole lot less stressful if I'd used it though...

Oops, I just checked, it is same as for standard postal application(http://emigratesafe.com/article/new-ukb ... 2-migrants). I probably misunderstood as my company paid, not me :). Anyway, there are requirements you should be met for applying priority postal service :). You can do it without solicitor, the guidance's here http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/media/global/ ... _2012).pdf. Worth to try :). Thanks everyone and best luck!

Hi, I only received my invitation letter for biometric at home(they also sent a copy of it to consultant), but the others were delivered at consultant address.(approval letter, returning my passports, and all documents, also BRP was delivered at consultant address). After that they forwarded them to me.
Cheers,

* * for more clue, actually consultant provided me a "special delivery envelop"(already paid and addressed at their office) which was used to return my documents after decision by UKBA ( I attached a letter that mentioned "please use attached envelop when you return the origianl documents and decision" blah blah). I am guessing that's why I got back my original documents a bit earlier than expect. the service I was provided by, was excellent! i would like to recommend them, but not sure it is allowed on this website or not :) if you are interested, pm me I will direct you to their website :)

Cheers,

can anyone reply me, is it possible to give biometric approval from UKBA without Passport?
because i applied for tier 2 with my dependant. but my dependant lost his passport. so we attached the receipt with our application, which he applied for a new passport.
we enrolled for biometric on 11th of january 2013. still didnt get anything from UKBA.
please reply to me.
