Still waiting, again received an email saying that my case has not been allocated to a caseworker. I also now believe that the emails are generated and not checked on system as the responses were the same although the questions were different. I strongly believe no one reads them. Not really frustrated but heyberti83 wrote:update, received another email very promptly saying that my case has not gone to a case worker yetberti83 wrote:Nationality: Kosovan

(Was told it would be straightforward due to being here 14 years, it has not been the case) I received an email today stating that no decision has been made yet on my application. Do not even know whether it is with a case worker

I received HO response via my MP today that our case was assigned to a case working unit on 25 June and that decision still hasn't been made (3 months after that!!). So try not to worry too much - as you can see, it doesn't mean much even if it has been assigned. Our application was received on 14 June, and I'd say it's quite straight forward as well. But who knows what HO's definition of straight forward isberti83 wrote: Still waiting, again received an email saying that my case has not been allocated to a caseworker. You can apply through NCS which is the Nationality Checking Service offered by local councils. They normally charge a fee which is different for different councils but they will take a photocopy of your passports etc and you can keep the original with you. Home Office has a right to ask for your originals if they wish.tronca33 wrote:PLEASE....I need answer to my question.
