The application was made at Mirpur. How about your application?

Ours was made in Lahore.. I'm just thinking they may have been a higher number of applications the day we applied. The thing that seems to be bothering me is that Kamran's was done after 61 working days. Now I'm working off that in my head!

thats what i was working off but we're over that now.

I dropped Gerry's a quick email today and got a standard reply back saying they have no control over the process and they only arrange for the collections and return of the documents.. quite disappointing since the UKBA advise to email Gerry's if application exceeds 12week (3months)

Think the only thing we can do is just wait...

Typical!!! It's really frustrating... We just don't seem to be getting any answers.

I'm just wondering how long we should continue to wait. Time is getting the better of me and I'm feeling like maybe they're just waiting to refuse.

If we go off the official UKBA timescales then its anytime up to 6months. inshallah the outcome will be positive.

the most frustrating thing is that there doesn’t seem to be anyway of contacting the case handler to give a real update. if that was possible it would put alot of minds at ease

Insh'Allah.

I was under the impression every case had a deadline.. So as you guys applied before me you should get your RFC's .. But if every case handler works individually then someone who applied days after us may get theirs before us.. Ahhhh.. Just wish I knew what was going on!

one of my relatives jus got their wifes visa on Thursday last week- took 6 weeks and a few days....

he spent 6 weeks in pak now, so got married, submitted n sat in pak, he had a flight on thurs n mrs found out on thurs... he was waitin to bring her back shame missed it by a day... but what frustrates me is that we have this thing hanging on our head that v must get back just incase they contact our employer or question how can u manage to stay in pak for so long... then theres this relative of mine whose soo laid back and got his visa... alhamdullilah happy for them and it gives me a bit of hope maybe some of us may get an answer quick...

its not worked on a first come first serve basis... our files r assigned to case workers.. some just get on with things and the rest prob sippin on tea, feet up on table and taking easy....

I think if theres gna b a refusal they shud let the applicants know within 2 weeks of submitting.... such huge fees then allah na karey u get refused, u appeal ur lookin at another year or reapplying... reapply and they eating another grand from our pockets...

the ones who r genuinely worried, concerned and dying for their partners to come over who go thru soo much difficulty.... but I guess we all gotta keep strong and have utmost faith in Allah... if theres a delay in processin our visas its probably for the best....

I pray we all gt the outcome we desire (the visa ofcourse lol) inshallah....

And do I need to submit attested copy of each and every page of my passport?

When she gets to the visa office they will expect her to have a complete photocopy file of all your original documents. That needs to be taken with her to the office.

I had my sponsorship letter written by a solicitor who then photocopied and stamped every page of the passort with the firms details.

I hope this of help to you. If you need anymore help please don't hesitate in asking me.

Insh'Allah you will all get it :)

I'm no expert on the spouse visa application process.. But over the last 9 months I've been in touch with immigration specialists who have been extremely beneficial. So if I can be of any help to anyone then I'm more than help anyone .
