InshaAllah I hope so. Before I was thinking 'any day now' but it's emotionally draining because your stressing yourself out all the time! I've emailed them but I was told that it could take up to 6 months

so I'm trying to not even think about it!

Inshallah, I hope March 2013 applicants hear very soon. I guess due to common wealth games things delayed for June rfc's. Next delays will be for Eid, holiday season for tourists and also student visa's. I have been told BHC spend more time with quick cases as such as listed above leaving settlement cases to 3-6 months or so. I just hope everyone hear within 3 months or so. There are only 200 staff working in Islamabad BHC, they have no choice but to deal with tourists, visitor visa's, students, dependant visa's as their 1st priority. As they can make decisions on these cases quicker than settlement cases, this is dealt with 1st. Above all, they make more money on such quick decision making cases than settlement cases.. Application submitted on Lahore VAC = 23rd April 2013
Application Forwarded to Islamabad OC = 23rd April 2013
Application under process at BHC = 07 May 2013
RFC = still waiting

why they are taking it so longer, there have been 49 working days it's almost 10 weeks now and I am still waiting

I have checked the guide to visa processing time(Lahore VAC) on UKBA site which shows the report of May in which they mentioned 100% decisions made in 15 days and I have applied in the month of April so where is my application? can anyone answer my question?

And I also want to mention here that as I checked the timelines of different applicants on this forum, every timeline shows that it takes 14 days to change the status from forwarded to OC to under process at BHC then how UKBA issues the visa in 15 days according to their visa processing time report?

The figures u checked was it for spouse visa meaning settlement or non settlement cuz non settlement r quick... Spouse is no less than 12 weeks by the looks of it

we've applied on the 28th March 2013 from Karachi and still haven't heard anything yet.

seems like after the applicant for the 10th March, other applicants haven't heard back.

I am so upset for this delay, just want a positive outcome ASAP.. Hope we all get a positive outcome. First the wait issue, next worry will be what the outcome will be

My TB test will expire on 6th July. If I hear from BHC after the 6th, would it be ok to go or will they ask me to do another TB test? Do you guys know anyone who went on a out of date TB test? This long wait surely expires your TB test..

As long as the TB certificate was valid when you applied everything should be fine.

Asalaamalaykum all

I have been silent member of this forum past few months thought i should at least return something as i have benefited from everyones discussions etc.

I applied from Islamabad on 14.03.13 got rfc 10.06.13 - Alhamdulillah visa was granted.

I know someoneelse who also got rfc about one or two days after me, but she did not get visa.

I know how it feels waiting for the visa... which is tedious and always back of your mind.

But, do sabar, complete you Salah and read plenty of Durood, InShaAllah all will be okay.

i did ask my employer at some stage during the application to find out if any checks had occured, but they told me no, and they also said they have never received checks in the past for others in simular situations ....

but what i did was emailed gerrys and told them that "we submitted our application in islamabad on 14 March 2013, it has now been over 12 weeks and not had a reply or update yet. We have been advised by the UK Border Agency to send you an email so you can enquire with the BHC and give us an update on this situiation since it has take longer than 3 months"

i then got a reply the same day letting me know the passport is now ready for collection.

and we got the phone call to confirm the same the following morning.

I think this is what ALL MARCH APPLICANTS should do .....

you all should email gerrys in the same format , asking them about an update as its been 12 months , and once 12 months are over you can ask for an update and i am sure like this case ,

you guys will recieve an email shortly to collect passport and a call along with it !!
