I haven't sent social welfare report. Is that something that I should do? Has anybody, who applied during the same time frame, done that?
I wasn't sure about the SW report and wanted to se comments on this forum bfore snding on.
Hi Krb
You are better off sending SW report alongwith requested documents.
I did the same in last month.
Quickest way to get your SW report is to fill out FOI1 form from the link below and send it to your local Social Welfare Services Office,
http://www.welfare.ie/EN/forms/Documents/foi1.pdf
Keep us updated.

Was away for a while.
First of all
Congratulations Mad & Gandhai. I can imagine how relieved you guys are.
I hope you receive your cert+passport quickly.
Just one question if you don't mind answering:
After taking your oath, what sort of documents you have to send back along with form7? Are they same for all applicants?

Its basically the same: Signed oath, Payment of €950, 2 passport photographs, GNIB card...
...though it tarries, it shall surely come...

Deception-Shy, when did you take your oath? Can you please inform us when you get your cert. Cheers mate.
Kind regards,
Mad.
HI Mad, I had my oath on April-5th and on the same day I posted the Oath letter with DD to the DOJ. I heard that they are sending the certs within 5 weeks time. I guess you had your oath yesterday. Will update you once i receive the cert.

Hi!
I was told that my application was at the last stage of processing in December and got approval in MArch. This generally means that they have received all the outside reports. Now this is strictly my own opinion and I wonder if anyone else might agree with this.

Hi! Deception-Shy,
Thanks for updating us. I sent my forms yesterday after the oath. Unfortunately, in my area the only day that I could get for an oath was yesterday. I hope that we get our certs as soon as possible.

This is just a quick alternative instead of waiting for INIS to contact Dept of Social Welfare for finding out if or not we're in receipt of any benefits other than Child benefit. Asrpb - can you clarify if you just asked them for a letter stating that you're not in receipt of payments since a PPS number was issued to you?

HOTSPURS you are spot-on.
SW report is just us trying to help out hardworking INIS staff, who'll do anything to prolong your application timing.
Anyways, on page 2 or part 2 of FOI1 form you can just say
'I Would like to request an official letter confirming whether I'm in receipt of any social/employment benefits or not. This is required for my citizenship application through naturalization'

hi Dublin123
I received same letter latter stages of processing, and last month while phone lines were open I managed to call them and told me my file is with Minister awaiting decision but line was echoey I wasn't sure because conversation lasted only in seconds and cut off. I applied feb 2008
latter means final / end so might be final stages?
Anyone here received letter before saying waiting for outside agencies?
Thanks
