Hi All,
I received my RC yesterday, Yipeee :D My timeline was as follows:
Application sent to HO: 29th Feb 2012
Application Received by HO: 1st March 2012
COA received: 9th April 2012 dated 4th April 2012
RC received: 15th May 2012 dated 2nd May 2012

I applied with my 2 kids as dependents of EEA national (my brother-inlaw). HO granted the 3 of us our RCs. My husband got his RC last year (EU dependent-he depended on his brother). I am a visa national, West Africa to be precise.
Good luck to all those that are still waiting for their RC...

My husband lived in Holland with his brother, so he provided some bills he had in holland, Holland bank statement showing funds from the brother, birth cert (his &his bros), family tree diagram, pictures and bills/ proofs of address(his & his bros) for Uk, sponsors bank statement showing fund transfer to his bros, sponsor's payslips and contract of employment and some other irrelevant junks.

Well, no response to my e-mail, however.... on the Royal Mail website:
Your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery.

We can confirm that your item left the delivery office this morning and should arrive shortly if it hasn’t been delivered already.

Looks like it should arrive today, finally. Will be interesting to see what is in the package.

Thanks! Flights are booked to Australia and fly out in a few days. Cost me a bomb, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. :(

So i did and i spoke to a lady who said that everything was sent out on the 16th of May and it can take 5 days for me to get it since it is 2nd class post.

However, she has given me a tracking number, so far there is nothing for it but will keep checking!!!!

will just wait till next week to find out and then ring back if I have not gotten anything.

Update on my situation....sent an email a couple of days back to request for our passports back as we would need to travel in mid June. There was no reply to this email thus sent it again yesterday without any success. I then called UKBA today to try and find out whether my request is being processed or not. Spoke to a rude lady who was not very willing to even take my case ID number at first. She did look it up though and said that the email was passed on to the teamleader and they should email me back within 5 working days. That's all the info I got. Not sure what this is supposed to mean?!

sometimes you get on to the rude ones while others you are lucky. I will suggest waiting till Monday and then if you have not heard anything back (email) then give them another phone call.

When i called today, I told the lady that I had emailed a week ago regarding the fact that i need my residence card for work and someone had replied to the email to say the request will be dealt with.

And i would like to know if anything has been done about it, she then asked for my case reference number and then told me my package has been sent out on the 16th and I should get it within 5 days and gave me my tracking number.

:D

However, the door bell rang and my spouse EEA 1 certificate came instead and had on it a different tracking number from mine.

So I am really excited about getting mine soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
