Hi all,
I can see that many users posted info that applicants who applied via solicitors have not received any emails. I with my wife and my colleague applied via solicitors on 22nd of July - and there is no update. Is there anyone who applied using solicitors and received email for biometrics/IDV app?

I have applied through solicitor on 10/07 and had received email regarding my eligibility for biometric reuse and also received option to opt out. However, i chose to use IDV app. Now waiting for IDV app.

Hi Moderators,

May be a daft question but do you think the case workers have already looked into march, april and May case prior to IDV app invite ?

Also, my solicitor used my personal email to create UKVCAS account. Hence i get all email updates directly from UKVCAS.
A lot of solicitors use the same email id to register all their clients which might be causing problems. But solicitors would know better. If this indeed is causing problems, we can trust them to use separate email ids for each client. Please discuss with your solicitor. Also, hope they are checking their spam/junk folder.

The day has almost ended and no one reported receiving emails today. What is going on!
Crazy idea, but what if UKVCAS don't send invites on Mondays?

They said they aim to send 4000/day and 20,000/week, which suggests only 5 days per week. If the invites go out the day after they process them, then the Tue-Sat invite schedule aligns with the Mon-Fri working schedule.

I received IDV app email at 20:55. I applied 22 April. Fingers crossed more are sent tonight. Are we supposed to upload new signed documents or those signed at the time of applying?

Very encouraging indeed. At least it has moved from 15 to 22 april in a day with not yet full ramp up. That's very positive.

Yep, I have also received idv app invite at 9.27pm today. My application date was on 14th April. Just to note that I had tried to log in/been checking the app just before the invite at 8.30pm and was able to, so I knew the invite was on its way.

Hi,

Can anyone who got the biometric reuse email let us know when you gave your last biometric, so that we can know if we are eligible for IDV app or not?

Thanks

I think the rule is as follows (my observation, please don't take this for an official rule):
If you have given biometrics in the last 5 years and if your child was +5 years during your last biometric (this means your child's fingerprints were taken), then you will be selected for reuse.

Well, My child was 9 when he gave his fingerprints last (5 years ago) and I did not get reuse option. So it is still 50-50 :-)

I belive Child Biometric should be in last two years to be eligible for reuse. Above a certain age (most adult) they can reuse it till 5 years.

Hi,

Are the Biometric Appointments now open for booking at the UKVCAS Centres in the UK?

Also, does anyone have an idea when will the Priority and Super-Priority Services resume for the ILR Applications?

Many Thanks.

If you read the posts in this topic, you will see it is still being done in phases for those who have already applied online.

And no, we don't know when priority or super priority will resume, which is not what this topic is about.

We received our invitation for IDV last night (24th August) at 21:41, so quite late in the day. Our original Set(M) application was submitted on 15/04/2020. We'd already submitted the majority of documents on the UKVCAS website, and we'll submit the photo and supporting passport image today. The subject of the email we received is "Invitation to use the new UKVCAS IDV app". Seems like things are progressing.
