You would need to present a Certificate of Application to your employer or prospective employer which would have been given you by the HO indicating your right to work.uk_willy_77 wrote:Hello All,

Hi, it is very difficult the understand why you haven't received your COA for 6 months especially when others who sent theirs less than that have received it. However it is very possible to receive a decision on your application without a COA since it's been 6 months already. I think you should expect a decision soon, if not, if I were in your situation I will write at least 3 letters a week to the Home Office asking them about my application in case they've forgotten. I'll put pressure on them to act. They claim that if they've not given you a decision in 6 months they'll write to you to explain to you, so if you've not received a letter that they will delay then you can pressure them with letters. At least 3 letters a week! Your lawyer will not send these letters, send them yourself!Iredola79 wrote:Hi all,

Received: 06/12/16
Biometrics letter: 14/01/17
Biometrics done 18/01/17
COA: ????
PR: ????
More than 6 months now still waiting for COA or PR.
Have also been stopped from work. My lawyer have written to them yet no answer.
Pls anybody experiencing this type of emotional and physical torture? Pls your comments will be appreciated.
Pls advice me what next steps should be.

Hi, it is very difficult the understand why you haven't received your COA for 6 months especially when others who sent theirs less than that have received it. However it is very possible to receive a decision on your application without a COA since it's been 6 months already. I think you should expect a decision soon, if not, if I were in your situation I will write at least 3 letters a week to the Home Office asking them about my application in case they've forgotten.
