Received a letter dated 18 June asking me for Subject Access Form (DAT1) from PSNI, applied for it the day after I received letter (PSNI no longer charge) I received my Criminal Record Check from PSNI yesterday (26 July) and I'm sending it to Tipperary today.

I thought I would just give a wee update, I got my approval late last year but I had to spend my saved €950 on a family member who was in need and figured I would get Christmas out the way and then save up in the new year, unfortunately with Covid I lost my job and it's taken me a whole lot longer to raise the money than I ever thought it would. Good news tho, I've sent in my bank draft and photos last week so just waiting on virtual ceremony/in person ceremony date.

I replied for an extension and they accepted it - I sent all I had in August when they were still open.
They reply with short 'we acknowledge the receipt of documents' and that's it...
My interpretation is - they haven't rejected my application, I didn't have 5 years initially but now have, so it is lying around somewhere over there. I give them till March and then will think.
In the meantime my wife got it on the 2nd March Ceremony (applied in Aug 2018 but had over 5 years of residence).
