Eskar bahi today I received payment receipt. I double checked Home Office reference for you. Its starting from my Surname's first word with digits eg T1234567. Its same reference number as home office had given 1st time when I had extention ( 5 and half year ago ) from them.

I guess your reference is unique ref and differenct one from us.

Congratulations to you guys.

Has anyone experienced a situation where NCS sent the original Life in the Uk test Cert. with application?

I expected them to make a copy and return the original?

Hello Tim555,

Eskar has mentioned somewhere that his is the same reference number that was issued to his dad (Eskar plz correct me here if I am wrong) when Eskar was included as a dependent. Hence he has not been issued a unique refernce of his own. Eskar needs to check the first letter of his reference if it matches with the first letter of his Dad's surname (It is not unsual to use different surname by each family member).

Regards

i know . i suppose had different type of reference number than others becasue this is my first time individual application to UKBA as an adult. becasue when i had my uk celarence visa then ilr i was with my mum and dad, never had any reference number for me. and London is right we dnt have same family like others do.

Eskar,

I have checked with at least 3 different councils and all have said the same that they can arrange a private ceremony as soon as the slot is available which usually is within available within a time frame of 3 and 5 days.

Call your council and ask for a private ceremony. Hopefully you will get it within a week's time.

They seem to be approving in batches with applicants generally receiving approvals on Saturdays. I got my approval 2 Saturdays ago, on a day when at least 4 applicants reported getting approvals. Now this Saturday, just about everyone on the forum expecting their approval got it.

Interesting pattern. Perhaps all applicants still in the queue should look out for the Postman more enthusiastically than on other days.

Spartac,

You are spot on. This is what I have said in one of my previous posts to check out the pattern.

passport interview question

Post by global gypsy » Sun Mar 07, 2010 12:00 pm

Question for those of you who have been thru the passport interview:
Is this just an interview where they ask you questions to verify your identity? Or is there something more? I ask this because I read elsewhere on this forum that they take your fingerprint at the interview. Is this correct?
The IPS site doesn't mention this, hence my question.
