Dear Members

Need urgent advise

My wife visa was refused last month because of English test i have appealed against it. Now i have to travel Pakistan in October and do not see appeal will be decided so soon.

Now if i want to withdraw my appeal and put fresh application again i have to prove my income. I am self employee what documents do i need to prove self employee income. My last year self employee income meet the threshold but did not submitted my tax return as its due in JAN 2015.

Please advise me what documents would be required to prove my income and how long normally taking for Flrm Visa.

Hi

could anyone clarify this for me?
If you are on the 10 yr family route through your child can you possibly switch to marriage visa if you have a partner who is a UK citizen?

Hi,

Here is my case:

FLRM application sent on 27/01
HO's consideration on 03/03, decided to put on hold solely due to the financial requirement was considered not met on 27/01.
11/08 Refusal letter from HOme Office with a right to appeal
26/08 lodged an appeal.

I am thinking to make a fresh FLRM application as we have now met the financial requirement.
Can anyone please advise how long it will take, and the fact that I have to withdraw the appeal to make a new application, I will become an overstayer, how it will affect my new application?

Thanks

Hi everyone!
Finally received my documents and biometric residence card few days ago. Can't believe it's finally over, it took almost 7 moths!
Thank you all for your help and support and good luck with your applications!

Hi,

I applied for FLR(m) UK spouse visa on 12th of July 2014 using a Premium service at Sheffield. The decision was not been made on the same day because the assessor needed extra payslips and bank statements. She said she will make the decision asap after she get these documents. I sent these extra documents the next working day. I am switching from tier 2 sponsorship visa to spouse visa. Also i changed my employer 5 days before applying for my visa. I thought i will be able to work with the new employer. But unfortunately after working for a week with the new employer i came to know that i cannot work with them. So i had to quit the job. Its more than 2 months now that no decision has been made on my application, i have lost my job, i am living in a temporary accommodation. My local MP contacted the ukvi 2nd September and ask them to look into the matter urgently. Even i have written letter to my assessor after that. But all efforts in vain. This is such a pain even after choosing a premium service you cannot get a result as you expect. I am not sure what to do? Has anyone faced the same situation? Or anyone have got any suggestions? Or has anyone applied for the flrm during the same period and still waiting for the result ?

Thanks

You mean you stopped working 5 days before your application? Did you get letters from your employer?
The rules say you must be employed as at the time of your application and if you stopped working 5 days b4 your application then,I believe you caused this yourself.
Then, did you inform them when you changed job? These are the causes of your present situation.
You can check your spam mail, they could have sent you mail without you knowing.

Hi

Thanks for ur reply. Yes I submitted my new contract to them which stated the start date of the employment which was within 2 weeks and also salary stating 30k. I also had sent them 12 months bank statements and payslips from previous employer. I always had a salary above 18600. Also had sent them my p60. I am not sure what delay is for. My local mp just told me to wait for 12 weeks and after that they will chase them everyday.

Hello,

I want to know
1) Do I need to send my original BRP and Passport along with my wife FLR(M)
2) If I am sending application form 28 Sept what should be earliest and latest cut off date for showing the income.
3) similarly for proof of address what date should be the latest/earliest dates for bank statement.

Thanks

Hi Faisal,

1) yes of course u need to send ur original BRP and passport.
2) show the income payslips and bank statements till ur last salary. So it can be September dated or August dated.
3) for proof of address I would suggest send house agreement or may be some council letter. These can be use as documents for showing accommodation. And they in turn can be use as address proof. And anyway u sending ur latest bank statements.

Hope this helps

12/7/14 - Application by Premium service - FLR(M) - Sheffield. Decision not made same day. Asked for extra bank statements and payslips.
14/7/14 - extra documents sent by special delivery
16/7/14 - extra documents received by home office
12/7/14- Biometric fingerprints were already taken on the same day
- Approval letter not received
- Documents not received
- BRP not received

So around 11 weeks. Though paid for an premium service. :(

Humble request to all please update ur timelines. This can be really helpful for others.

Thanks

Dear forum members, I've applied for SET(LR) this month and currently preparing for my wife's FLR(M) application which we will send out some time in mid November. Shahjee has kindly already helped me with this quite a bit. I have a situation I'm not sure what to do with it! My wife and I are both in non-salaried employments (hourly wage) and we will be able to combine our incomes and meet the financial requirement Insha'Allah. We got bank statements, payslips for 6 months and the job contracts but the question is about Employer's letter especially two of the requirements regarding the letter!

(i) the person's employment and gross annual salary;
(iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and

(i)We will determine the gross annual salary according to home office calculation methods and that's not a problem but our employers are not gonna bother calculating gross annual salary according to HO and put it in the letter! Best we can ask our employers to do is to mention the exact gross amount we have been paid over the last 6 months period that we are sending evidence of. So how do we solve this gross annual salary problem in the employers' letters?

(ii)Similarly for the second point, the best we can ask the employer to mention as previously stated that we have been paid this amount over past 6 months, since out jobs are hourly paid I don't think they are gonna do this all sorts of HO calculations and say exactly what HO want in point (iii)! any suggestions on these two issues guys?

Lastly if anyone has successfully used employer's letter like this for FLR(M) application regarding non-salaried jobs (or salaried if nobody has any non-salaried) then can I please seek your help to use that as template so that we can get the letters we need from our employers? Sorry about very long post...thanks for all your help in advance:)

Dear fellow Members
I am ab
out to apply for my FLRM. I recently received my ILR but Homeoffice forgot to send back my passports.
I believe I need to send my original passport with wife's application plus Original BRP. Will they accept photocopies?? I fulfill all other requirements.. I have already requested return of my passports by sending them a letter and requesting on website.

Hi All,

I just posted the FLR(M) application form for my partner to the address instructed on the form. We sent it Royal Mail Special Delivery. It says that we should receive acknowledgement of them receiving it but after 3 days I haven't received anything. It has been signed for as I can check it online on the Royal Mail website.

Am I just being too nervous? Should I expect a reply of receipt in a certain number of days? Any experience from any fellow members would be great. Thank you.
