Hi, I have received a letter from Grafton College today also they provided me a Cambridge online Verfication Screenshot.
I am going to appeal within a few days,
I have some questions to ask if you could answer,

Documents to send visa post, Originals or photocopies?
Shall I send through DHL or Post Office,
I am thinking to go for Oral hearing,
should I declare my sponser as my representative?
As I dont want to pay a lawyer as yet.
Thanks

I have some questions to ask if you could answer,

Please see my response below.

Documents to send visa post, Originals or photocopies? The court always ask you for photocopies. Don't send the Original please.
Shall I send through DHL or Post Office, You can use any postal service which will provide you tracking facility. My Lawyer/representative have faxed my documents and it received ok by the Court. and faxing them the documents is the quickest way to do it as well.

I am thinking to go for Oral hearing,I've also opted for Oral hearing its the best way to do it. I guess most of the people would like to have an Oral hearing
should I declare my sponser as my representative? Well you can do this by all means I am not really happy from my lawyer performance so far and they are all crooks that's all I can say. It took me ages to explain my case to that dumb idiot and I am the biggest idiot than him who's still paying him £1700 to represent my case in the court. The fees just tells you my desperate situation.
As I dont want to pay a lawyer as yet.
Thanks
yes you can if you want to as you don't have to get a lawyer, I got a new one for my appeal and she's really good as gave me peiece of mind, also she added the legal mumbo jumbo that words into appeal too

Always go for Oral as it tells them you mean business and gives you a better chance for the ECM to overturn decision at review stage

Just sharing my experience of going through the appeals process.

Visa Type: Spouse visa
Applied : 11.03.15
Refused : 03.06.15
Application Location: Mirpur
Refusal Reason: Only 7 months bank statements provided
Appealed:04.06.15
Payment Taken:04.06.15
Documents sent to tribunal:05.06.15
Notice of pending appeal letter:29.06.15 appeal date of after 12.10.15
Withdrawal of home office decision:04.08.15
Call in letter/email: 31.08.15
Passport submitted:04.09.15
Passport collected visa stamped:23.09.15

Visa is for 33 months so anybody that appealed before the new rules about 30 day visa it appears still gets the 33 month visa without having to visit a post office to collect brp card.
What i would say about the process is that it was very slow and stressful process but ultimetly if you provide the correct documents you should get a positive result in 3 months, in my case i didnt read the rule properly which meant a delay of an additional over 3 months.

I didnt mention wage slips, i had applied using my income from my property business but had incorrectly assumed i would only need to provide 6 months bank statements but the rules as i found out later stated that i should have provided 12 months worth of bank statements.

Hi stillwaiting123.

I have been following your progress for a while as my appeal is not too far behind yours. I am truly sorry your case has been escalated - like me you have been waiting an awfully long time.

Inshallah I will keep you in my duas.

One question I had though, which number did you use to contact them? I'm not sure which one to call.

Also, I recall you said you would not post on the forum as often anymore - would you be kind enough to let us know the court date you are quoted?

Thanks in advance.

Salam brother

Thanks for your kind words

In my opinion if you don't hear in the 9/10week into deadline then it will go to court
I have not received a date as of yet just found out on Thurs that it is up for court

Another sisters deadline was 6th October she has received court date 8th Feb and today received back court bundle from embassy...don't worry I will update once I have more info to share

The number to call is 0300 123 1711 its free to call from mob & landline...press option 4 and they will ask for appeal reference and some other basic questions and just ask if there has been a reply or update from embassy
