@tsadeel

1:If u are in uk for more than one year..u need to show 533 pounds in ur bank for last 3 months for each dependant but i would suggest u to show
800+533 for each dependant..as 800 is the maintenance for main applicant..
but if u are outside uk or in uk less than one year than u have to show 1600 for each dependant plus 800 for main applicant..
just visit
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... entofunds/

its always better to show more funds..but i have told about their requirement..

The questions about the whole process of visa processing which we have been discussing is being discussed with British High Commissioner in ISD. See slide 3 onward following the link below:

@ tasdeel this is simple 3 month bank statement of sponser is required i.e
if living in uk for more than 12 months 800<main applicant> + 533 pounds
if applying from outside uk or if sponser living in uk for les than 12 months its 800 + 1600 pounds(per applicant) and your bank statement should not fallbelow this limit at anytime during this 3 month period

I think you are wasting your time gathering all this information. Your visa got refused because of your bank statement so make sure your evidence of funds is up to date. I do not see any reason you want to include emails, phone bills etc as this is not a requirement for application.

Also read UKBA guidelines carefully, you need only £533 for each dependant. No need to add £800 from your side as you are main applicant and you are not applying for a visa hence you do not need to show evidence of funds for yourself. Hope this helps

@abbacee
my dear friend if your read my reason of 2nd refusal it was lack of evidence of contact frm my wife since we get married so visa officer said he is not satisfied that this marriage is subsisting. So next time i need to show evidence that this marriage is not subsisting.
1st reason was bank statement yes but now i m extra careful i dont want to give any other reason next time.
or wase bheee doodh ka jala chach bhi phoonk phoonk kar pita hai.. i hope u understand my concerns...

now i m quite satisfy that i can produce my bank statemet frm 1st june to 1 september even my balance fall down £3700 for few days in month of june. but you guys help me and i m satisfy that £3700 is sufficient fund and i no need to worry about it.

Also i m sorry if i bcome annoyed & u ppl understand y is that....thanks for lot help every1

I think the delay is caused by Student Visas. Last year they had a backlog of estimated 14,000 applicants in these months June-September.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/oc ... university

This year they are simply priortising these student applicants causing delays in other catagories.

Students visa are processed and even visa printing done in abu dabhi but for other category excepts settlement visa only process in abu dabhi and visa printing done in BHC isb. the cause of delay is something else dnt know yyyy

salam guys!

this paragraph is the part of the email when i send email to abu dhabi on 20th January 2010 to ask which doc i need for my vis and same day i got reply back, my concern in this email that they already know that its gona be some delay after 3 months on 27th april. its mean something is going on in that from 27th april thats why they mention in that paragraph.

Important advice to customers from Pakistan about UK visa application process delays. Customers, please note that there are currently significant delays in the UK visa application process. You are advised to apply for your visa well in advance of the intended date of travel. The delays are due to the high volume of customers making appointments at the visa application centres (please refer to the update of 27 April regarding appointment bookings) and to technical difficulties affecting the UK's global visa operation, which UK Visa Services are working to resolve. At the moment please allow approximately 7 weeks from the time you make a request for an appointment to collecting your visa decision. UK Visa Services apologise to customers for the inconvenience, and confirm they are working to reduce these delays.

what you think guys boxsir, shaz1,smainkhan,butta144 ?

relax guys u know visa procesing is very slow for pakistan so there is nopoint in getting stressed out.i applied in feb this year and got my passport back after 2 and half months with refusal so real thing is success in your application which inshallah we all will.@tasdeel i think these documents will help you in your application and they are enough proof of contact i think when you r applying from pakistan make your application as strong as possible.dont worry about utility bills my husband is living in NHS accomodation where all bills are paid by hospital itself sso i cant have them.mention about this in your covering letter.see if your bank statement has your current address you can also submit following documents as proof of address

utility bills
nhs medical card

driving lisence

council tax document
bank statement showing address

If you look at the High Commissioner interview to Dunya tv (link copied into my last post) which was recorded in March 2010, he clearly said two things

First that Pakistani government doesnt allow them to take pakistani passports to Abu Dhabi that is why they have to do the visa processing in two or three bits. It means that in any case, including settlement visa, all passports stay in Pakistan and the visa is printed when the decision is made by Abu Dhabi or Croydon.

Secondly, there is always an increase in student visas in summer. They had huge delays in all sort of visas last summer and that is expected again in this summer for the same reason; hence this delay we are experiencing.

Lets hope that despite all this we have our cases back next week. I have been following some other websites and they have some people who applied in March and April who are now getting their applications back. One good thing though that anyone who had such a huge delay had his/her visa approved.

Samin
