You have to submit online completed form, Gerry will not accept the hand written form. They just accept the print of online submitted form.

so when u will submit the online completed form then u must have to take its print that will submit on Gerry with all your documents.ok

1. Online application form
2.Nikah Nama(English)
3.coucil tax letter
4.12 months payslips(P60-2012-2013)& up to date payslips till August-13
5.Tenancy Agreement & Landlord's Letter
6.Toeic(A1)
7.Tb test
8.Invoices from calling abroad company
9.Invoice for money transfer(we married in April-13 & I left in May-13) so i would put one invoice of sending money to pakistan for this month.
10.Attested passport copies
11.my wife's passport

I ask the solicitor and he told If you are completing income threshold you don't need to show bank statements as there is no requirement for maintenance fund.
Please advice me what else I can submit with my application.

one more thing are you going to submit only the translation of nikkahnama or both original and English translation?

Thanks for your reply.Yes of course I would also include the both parts of Marriage certificates,Appendix 2, My mobile phone call data/bills because the company which provide me this facility they gave me uk mobile number which they diverted to pakistan so I would take that invoices/company letter and my mobile phone bills as well.
As we didn't hire any photographer but we have our marriage video they strictly mentioned that do not marriage dvd's.
as far as bank statements is concerned I can also attach my bank statements as well but there is no requirements for maintenance funds only if someone is having income threshold that should be fine.
One thing I can also include Property Inspection Report as well.
What else I can submit.Please advice me.

so u don't have marriage pictures,nobody in your family has captured the photos from their personal cameras?
do you have after marriage pictures?if yes u can add them to documents.

And u must have to provide bank statements,don't take any risk if u have bank statements so attach them.

Ive got a question i applied for child as settled parent but i know i dint meet the minimum thershold because we both on income based job seekers allowance but i gave all other documents to satisfy them that this case is 100% genuine how come my application wasnt put on hold hmmm but they cannot refuse as we both in uk?? So im confused that means.....

Salaam All,

Hope you are having a good Ramadhan. I am still awaiting my visa also yet. This is now the 15th week.

I emailed the Visa Enquiries Islamabad two weeks ago. They responded saying they could not trace my application and require further information!! I was shocked, so I emailed them back with the information and saying I am sad to hear what they have said. I think they will take another 2 weeks approximately which will then go up to Eid (holiday time), so may reply after Eid now.

My husband called Gerry's to query the status and that it is now the 15th week. The operator seemed very kind, he goes that currently application are taking approx 3-4 months. My application has now gone over 3 months and should be in the final stages, so should hear back most likely within 2 weeks or maybe just after Eid. As my husband queried him more, he said that from his system the application has returned from Dubai as is sent there for processing and is now with the BHC in Islamabad to carry out the final stages. He said I should (inshaAllah) hear after Eid.

Guess just have to wait. After seeing some applications being rejected on small bits, InshaAllah I just hope it comes back successful even if it is after Eid.

Lets all just make plenty of dua in the last 10 days of Ramadhan.

Brothers and sisters I've been silently observing and benefiting from this forum for the past 4 months and the time has now arrived to post my timeline.

Applied at Mirpur: 11/04/2013

Under Process at BHC: 24/04/2013

RFC: 26/07/2013

Outcome: Visa Granted Walillahilhamd!

Total Time Taken: 15 weeks or 77 working days

Throughout this period I emailed the Mirpur Gerry Office once on the 15th July to update me regarding the process of our application but they responded with the standard email template informing me that they are really busy and that it may take up to 24weeks. On the email it stated that I could email the head office at Islamabad which I went ahead and did informing them that I would like an update regarding why I have not received a response in over 3 months, they then sent back an automated email acknowledging my email informing me that they will respond in 20 working days.
There after I received my RFC on the aforementioned date.

Wasalam,, I also made huby phne gerys today bw I dnt believe a word they say. They said oh u will hear this week in sha Allah bt like I said I dnt believe them they will do n say anythng to get us off their case. Dnt get ur hopes down nor too up becoz each case is individual and unique who knws when one of us who applied later hears first.

Also I emailed bhc too n gt a reply bk quick considering I emailed them on friday. Bt I was shockd to c their reply becoz they said 'your application was concluded in march, we have no further updates' reason I am confusd is firstly I applied on the 26.04.13 n I think they r ref!erring to our initial application tht was refusd in march. Bt ths has scared me becoz I provided them with the new details n trajing number so y on earth did they email bk regarding.
our old one? Is it just automated replies?
