Hi I applied for my Wife's Visa a few weeks ago , every thing is fine but I am concerned about the English Language requirements.

For English Language requirements we sent

1) Original Degree
2) Letter from University stating Degree was taught in English.
3) UK NARIC statement of comparability.

Would that be sufficient ? As some here are mentioning that Spouse Visa can be rejected because of this ?
or would that be advisable to take the A1 English test and send that as well as extra evidence ?
Applied: 18/07/13
Under Process: 31-07-13

To me these look sufficient but I will strongly advice that you take the English test and send it as I have observed that the UKBA prefer the English Test certificate over any other supporting evidences especially for applicants from the Asian block.

I hope this will help....

The B1 test is for settlement application and not for an entry clearance visa I think

Hahahahah that's funny, I used to be a civil servant but we had standards that had to be met , I can't believe how slow the UKBA are. How hard is it to check a few documents? 3 to 6 months? Really? !!

I am curious as to what they mean when they say working days, do they mean UK working days, or working days of the country of application?
