Hi Sweech02,
Was looking for your application time line , but didn't find one . Since you posted in this topic I assume that you have applied for AN + PP ( JCAPS ) .

The average time for deducting the amount , sending ACK/BIO letters is around 10-12 days .Since you applied on 14th of March , and the 10-12 day limit falls on the brink of Easter .I would say wait for few more days . If you don't receive any update from HO by coming Monday, Call the NCS you applied from .They will be able to track your application .

If you have applied through post, there is no option other than waiting . The HO help line is not that useful .

I have applied on 14th March.

There is no sign of fees deduction.

Is it normal or do I have to start panicking ?

There would have been huge numbers of applications being submitted to beat the 18th March fee increase so it is likely that HO is dealing with a backlog.

Dont worry I am too waiting for fees to be deducted..I've applied on 11th Mar- JCAP through NCS.
As CR001 says, its very likely that it would be due to 18th March deadline.

How long will it normally take to dispatch passport after ceremony As I ve gone through different statements even council and HMPO staff are not on one page. Plz share your experience & ur Expertise.

We must ve JCAP time line on this valuable forum for more visibility Thnx.

Since the JCAPs scheme is a pilot scheme , none of the departments know the exact time limit for processing of the application . My educated guess is that it may take 20-25 days after you attended your ceremony .

other members of the group are also waiting for their passports( applied thru JCAPS) and some got their passports after 3-4 weeks .

I realy appreciate your response, You right it might take 3 to 4 weeks initially I was told by my council Brent tht it would take around 7 to 10 working days but seems like it won't
I have seen people who have received their passport more or less within 15 days. But it's HO/HMPO no one can guess for these department.

Anyhow my ceremony was on 17 March I would let you know once mine comes Thankx.

This is an interesting subject as I recently applied for Naturalisation plus passport using the NCS Cheltenham. I applied on the 2/12/15 and money for Naturalisation and passport was taken out on the 4/12/15 (for naturalisation) then on the 8/12/15 (passport fees).

So waiting to see what happens!

I've applied via NCS wandswoth on 14 March 2016 and spoke to the NCS yesterday ...they said it will take 4 -6 weeks for them to take the payments as home office is super busy with the pile up they had due to increase of fees .

I think JCAP applications are taking longer than normal applications.

One of my neigbour applied though NCS Brent on February 18, 2016, gave biometrics on March 9, 2016 and received the approval letter today.

As compared to my application (3 applicants) applied on Feb 15, 2016 gave biometrics on Feb 27, 2016 and still waiting

My neighbour who got approval was the singke applicant , on the other hand NCS Brent sent the application of all three in one go ( mihht be thats the reason its taking long)

Will be extremely helpful if JCAP applicants who have applied as a family share their experience.

I applied as a single applicant on Feb 10, 2016 and still haven't received my approval so it might be all JCAP applicants not getting their approvals as quick as the others

my wife did a NCS passport and naturalisation same time on Jan 26th

She did her biometrics on 17th Feb and still no response...

I can see many timelines that applied on similar times got there results by mid march or so...

I soooo hate this anxious waiting lol!! esp after seeing all around me getting approved
