O2 have an offer on at the moment (although it is a trial, so grab it while you can) which will let you make Unlimited (although everyone knows it won't exactly be truely unlimited) International calls to one number for £5/month. This is available for both PayG and Pay Monthly tariffs.

Do you know the most common reasons for refusal from Pakistan is now where the applicant and sposnsor cant provide evidence that they keep in touch with each other after marriage because they all use cheap calling cards where you dont get itemised billing and therefore cant prove this point to the ECO.
You obviously dont have to be on the phone to your spouse every moment of teh day. 3 x 5 mins call per week to your spouse should be more than enough for the ECO, that you are indeed genuinely married.
Just remember to put the the telephone numbers on the application form when you are applying
