I presume you are asking for booking for NCS, 14th Oct should be OK as while your application reaches UKBA its post 14th and completes 5 year requirement.

[quote="Allview"]All,

I would appriciate if anyone could help me deciding WHAT DATE shall I take my Naturalisation Appointment for NCS? I need to decide on what date, I am eligible to apply for my Naturalisation. Check the dates and let me know. I am eligible under HSMP Judicial review case and am eligible to apply after 5 years stay in UK.

• I came to UK on: 14 October 2005
• ILR Approval: 16 September 2009
• Naturalisation application: Is it on or after 14 October 2010??

It is mentioned on UKBA website on http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/briti ... uirements/ that ‘if we receive your application on 25 March 2010, you must show that you were in the UK on 26 March 2005.'

I am planning to book an appointment for 14 October 2010. Would that be okay?

Please let me know.

THNAKS a lot to this great forum providing us useful information and making the process smooth, which is not only saving ours time but also money which we may have to pay Solicitors to get very basic information and sometimes very complicated as well.

Best of luck to all awaiting.

The good thing is that they sent me a single (Approval + Invitation) letter and have been advised to contact the desired Council to arrange a ceremony as I dint want my ceremony at my local council as they dont attend phone most of the time and also charge £200 for private ceremony. I didnt even use their NCS.

Regards.

Hey jabedchy - let us know when you hear about your PP interview and receive you PP. I am trying to find out the timescale from applying for the passport and actually receiving it including interview.

Hi - If you are in hurry, call them after 2.5 weeks as a minimum. I have called after 1 weeks, 2 weeks and didn't get the reference number for interview booking.

Hi melo75
We completed dobs for parents, left their date of marriage blank and left grandparents details blank. The post officer clerk checking the form asked him about his grandparents and I believe they filled the form in "grandparents details not known".
