Thanks for explaining to me, i didnt know that so they may reply to us next week, as I have applied on the 30 of may until today it's around 62 days

I've made an appointment to see my MP in two weeks in case it does go over 12 weeks.

Hi nosah, if you applied 30 May it's 45 working days for you since application. For UKBA 1 week =5 days.

hi all, has anyone had the verification call from the embassy yet? last time we applied we had call after about 18 working days, but this time i havent heard anything...just wondering if they have stopped it!?

it takes about 10 days i have friends who got after 4 days . not many applying for eea in egypt .

inshallah we should all hear very soon, we are at about 25 working days so still have a while yet

remember that if there is a bank holiday here or in Egypt, they do not work so it is not classed as a working day! they were on strike last thurs as well!!

Your MP is there to help, I'm sure they have had situations like this before therefore will know what to do in these situations.

i contacted my mp and he seemed helpful enough, he rang "passport services" as he called them, and they said the waiting time was alot longer than before, at least 6 months is what they said!! so he talked them in2 putting us on the priority list, but we still have not heard anything.
i am not sure that at least 6 months is true as we have seen people getting their decisions within 3 months!

i see here the most talking about the application applied through the world bridge in Egypt.

please can anyone tell me is it right that the photo with the application should be 4.5 *3.5 with background light grey ?

u just need a passport type photo, it does tell u exact size when u print off application

but i see on the u k border the guidance for photo they said that the photo size should be 45 millimeter * 35 milliliter. with grey light color or cream color.

so i want to be sure is this right or you make just passport photo size?
