beacuse ur the sponsor u will need to send ina photocopy of your passport, but u will have to ATTEST it, this means that you will have to go to a solicitor and he will see your original passport and then sign and stamp the photocopy of your passport..

basically its just to say that it is your passport :)

i think you can go to any solicitor, but im not 100% sure.. just ring them up and ask.. it depends on the solicitor how much they charge but when i did it it was £10 :)
