Full 5 months required for a simple application where I had submitted my BRP copy(my visa extended through PEO). So only thing to check was the bank statements for the maintenance funds. Sent a to fax to UKBA on 12-Nov-2012 when the processing timeline on UKBA site were showing 10-Jul-2012 and no news on my dependants' visa. Approval received on 14-Nov-12 and docs and BRP today 19-nov.

No Biometric letter received yet. Its 1 month since date of application. Main applicant's visa runs out on 30-04-12. I hoped to get a visa atleast in 4 months by mid of march. It seems Increasingly unlikely. Very Disappointed!!

My husband has Tier 1 (General) permit. I had PSW permit and I didn’t have enough point for point based permits, so I have applied as a dependant of my husband inside UK. It has been refused recently. I heard people say the only way to apply first time as Tier-1 dependant needs to apply from outside UK, is it true? Anyone has the similar situation and appealed for the decision? Also how long does it take to complete the application outside UK?

P.S. I completed the biometric enrollment as the border agency required in the previous letter. However, I still don't understand why they rejected me finally.
