hi.. needed some info pls...
when u applied for the settlement visa did u not have to submit your passports at the time??

how long did u have to wait from application to refusal?

my wife applied on 22nd July 2011 and has no reply as yet. we have submitted all possible documents, leaving no stone unturned, allowing no reason for refusal. Its taken over 6.5 weeks and we have no response, and was hoping i could get some help from here.

Thank you

hi accrossborder,
I did not submit any documents regarding communication as i just read the requirements on ukba website before applying and they have not mentioned these things. I dint know all these until i found this website. But u r very lucky to find this site before making application.

All you need is your call history and/or email script and/or skype log and offcourse genuine marriage certificate/marriage photographs/ur bank
statements/acomodation documents/any joint account like bank or insurance policy(if u have one) and a well written sponsor letter and thts it...u r set to go. In fact i only had my call history to prove that my relationship is genuine when i made an appeal against the refusal and they overturned the decision within one month.

And ejaj i m still waiting for her passport to come frm mumbai. she rang them today and they said it still under process. Its 3rd week running after she submitted her passport. Any updates in ur case????

dear ejaz

i hope all is well.

my wife has been refused spouse visa and im appealing, but iaft2 form says to post/fax to tribunal in leicester uk, am i allowed to post to mumbai bhc (there is no mumbai bhc address in refusal notice ) when it says submit appeal to tribunal in uk. maybe last year when you applied it was possible to do this, please let me know this small answer.
