My E-vetting completed and Garda made disclosure to citizenship in early April 2022. I even have copy of my disclosure. No news since then. :(
How did you obtain the copy of the disclosure?

Hi all, so good to see that people's stages are starting to move.
We applied May 2020 and received the letter for e-vetting last Wednesday. We've returned it yesterday and hope to receive the email soon.
Delighted to read people were invited for the 20st of June.
Let's hope we will be next.
Have a great weekend and hope you all get a positive letter next week with the news you were hoping for 🤲🏼🌍

I believe the FOI to the citizenship department is the possibility to get it.

It was a coincidence and luck. I received my FOI request report a week after my e-vetting disclosure was made to the citizenship by Garda. It stated "Criminal Record" (Nil). Means NIL DISCLOSURE (containing no convictions or specified information)

EVERYONE

I haven't gotten my invitation, so I've emailed citizenship team last Friday.
They have answered today, Monday morning, saying invitations are still being issued in these coming days and throughout this week, so keep your eyes out for it.

Fingers 🤞 ♥️

I got it just now via email!!!

I thought to share what happened.
I emailed twice yesterday evening from scratch, as in not a reply to previous conversation or forward previous email.
Emailed twice the same thing, with subject line urgent - ceremony.
Someone responded saying they have forwarded it on to relevant person.
This person got in touch and asked me: confirmation of my address and confirmation that I indeed can attend the ceremony on Monday.
I confirmed.

He came back saying he just put invitation in post, but in case it doesn't make it until Monday, PDF was attached!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try it! I was getting desperate at this point, so I'd try anything.
Thought to share as this might help some of you. ♥️ best of luck guys!

Hi guys I just got the invitation for the ceremony!!! :D
Sorry, can I ask, are you Dublin based? I still haven't gotten my invitation, got acknowledgement on 20th and it's 10 days before the ceremony now including the weekends, so Im wondering since letters are sent from Tipperary, does nearby counties receive faster and Dublin gets it later? Don't know what to think anymore 😭
Hi, no, I live in a small Town in co. Cork. I hope you get good news soon 🙂

Yup. Nothing yet. We paid the end of april. They took 950 out of my account and here we sit with NOTHING to show for it. Just one email this week saying it's now been processed!!!!!!!!!!!!. Really poor managers and management of this whole process from day one. Can't wait to be done with it.

Doesn't mean anything bad to you. It meant you could've asked to see your disclosure from citizenship people, but not anymore.

Someone shared the timeline of eVettings, step by step. It's open to be downloaded for 1 month after it's viewed, then it gets expired (probably because of privacy laws). It just means that, no bad meaning.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please advise me about the 6 weeks role, I am confused, I want to send my application next month, but I believe I have traveled out of the state for several times during my first year, I can’t count days as I don’t have stamps in and out because I have stamp 4 EUFam, but I think it was all about 8 weeks in total during my 1st year, rest of the 5 years I was out 1 or 2 weeks maximum per year. Do anyone know if my application can be refused after long waiting for almost 2 years because of that reason, I don’t know if my 1st year will be counted as residency or not. Any advise please. Should I wait extra few weeks and then I apply? Can I get travel history for my self to know exactly how many days I was out in my 1st year?

If you were out of State for more than 6 weeks in a year (you said 8 weeks) then those days will not count towards your residency, so you should have 5 years of residence + 56 days (because you were away for 8 weeks) when applying for naturalization. I think (I am not sure) this is checked at first step of your application before they send acknowledgement letter. So if your residency was less than 5 years, it would get refused instantly.

Guys can E-vetting be carried out twice a year? On one application. I did my E-vetting in June 2021 disclosure was viewed in July. In January 2022 I got another upto date E-vetting invite disclosure viewed in February. Since then no more letter. Can I get 3rd vetting again. This is really frustrating guys.

I have a question or maybe someone could clarify something for me.
I just received my approval letter. It's the standard approval letter but I also received the form to declare my fidelity and loyalty to state and have it witnessed by a solicitor. No mention of ceremony.

Does this mean that I will get my certificate without attending ceremony or does everyone get this form even if they're attending ceremony?

I'm asking as I know they've done away with declarations as it was a temporary system during pandemic.

I have the same. I applied in October 2020 and got my decleration letter today. It does state on the back of the first page that you have 4 weeks to sign and return otherwise you'll need to attend a ceremony in person. So I guess at this stage, we'll sign the form and get our citizenship through the post.
