Countless calls, emails - same old generic replies. 110 working days. Apparently 120 working days is not a hard limit but an average so could easily take longer - hopefully not as my wife's entry clearance which initially was on May 2021 lasts until June 26th after a vignette replacement. So if we don't get it by 26th of June, we will have to make a new entry clearance application on her visa which takes another 1 and half month.

Consideration email : 3rd Feb 2022
1st Delay notification due to Ukraine situation : 11 March 2022
1st Paid paid enquiry : 24 March 2022 "Still awaiting a decision"
Numerous paid enquiries and calls after, same generic response. And failed to escalate my case as escalations are suspended. Got our MP involved twice but didn't get any response. Placed a complaint on the GOV website, no response!
Got the decision waiting time change email on : 11th May 2022.
Done another few enquiries and requests to escalate my case after completing my 24 weeks but it was still awaiting a decision. Finally on 6th June after I enquired I got a response that a decision has been made.

Got Dispatch Email and Sms from VFS on 7th June 2022! Even though I paid for courier but I had to wait another few days for the delivery. I couldn't wait, I collected my passport from service centre and Alhamdulillah I got my visa!

my question is did you paid by dollars? as when i checked the website i saw the price as 2100 dollars?

what is the waiting time usually?

do they do priority service? if yes how much they charge ?

Last time whenever I did paid enquiry I got reply like " your application is underconsideration and awaiting a decision". But yesterday when I got reply that was " your application is still being processed and application status is awaiting decision" .
I know am over thinking I thought may b they are working on my application that's why they said application is still being processed

Got an escalation email again today.

They did escalate my case on 13 May but no reply. Yesterday, I asked them again about the update and had a sort of rude conversation with them and they escalated the case again and asked me to wait for 15 days.

No idea what is going on with the HO.
