Note:
Received Call from Case worker on 6th Feb asking about missing biometric Details of my Daughter. I've explained the situation. He said that the case has been approved and he will post all the paper works and asked me to write him once we enroll my daughter's biometric letter with correct DOB. Then he will initiate the issuing of BRP.

The case was handled by Temporary Migration Workflow team. I did not expedite the Case.

Received the paper works today with approval letters. Even the approval letter for my daughter has the wrong DOB. I will ask the case worker to amend it when i Send him a reminder after enrolling Biometrics with correct DOB letter.

Note: BRP had to be returned as UKBA wrongfully gave me a 2 year extension when I was entitled to a 3 year extension. Returned it to them with a letter explaining and a new one came in the mail with the correct expiry date. It was annoying, but at least there was little fuss and UKBA sorted it out for me.

We haven't heard any news since we did the Biometric enrollment. We have already waited for the documents return more than 3.5months. I am afraid we need to wait for another 2.5 months sothe total extension process possibly needs half year or even more. I feel very frustrated.

Just to let you know: I am in the same position. Submitted app on 15 Sept 12; biometrics enrolled on 12 Oct 2012. It's been 4.5 months since initial application. Do we really have to wait 6 months before contacting UKBA as per their website?
