I believe once they opened the case, they would try to close within 14 days. I have the same timeline as yours and was asked further document to be sent. UKBA received it on 25.02.13. Looks like they will wait for 14 days to pass (grace time given to submit the docs) or process it right away away depending on the case worker.

My wife got a letter (dated 18 January 2013) requesting more documents on 22 January 2013 (letter stated must respond within 15 working days of date of letter). She replied on 29 January 2013 with next day delivery. We tracked it and it was delivered on Wednesday, 30 January 2013. She eventually got her Approval letter (dated 18 February) on 20 February 2013, last Wednesday. As of now, she still has not received her Residence Permit..... tomorrow will be 7 working days from the date of the Approval letter. So it took 3 weeks from them receiving the documents until she got the letter, but, as I said, no permit! Now more than 5 months since she sent in her SET(M) application.

Current average waiting time based on stories in this forum are;
SET(O) tier1/work permit - 5 to 8 months
SET(M) - 3 to 6 months

There are exceptions, of course, some get it within 3 months under any category, some wait over 10 months.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Haven't received it yet. On your approval letter, it tells you what to do if it doesn't turn up within 10 working days. You can either send an email or write to them. I must admit, I would send an email.
Hi,

I did send a email and it said it would reply me within 5 working days. Loads of bullshit ,I am sick of dealing with UKBA , sick of waiting for everything, everything takes ages in this country .
Sick of Waiting - have you received your Biometric Residence Permit yet? Or even a reply to your email? My wife has still not received hers and today is the 7th working day from the date of her acceptance letter! ......

I have now sent an email to both my MP, Pauline Latham and Mark Harper (Minister Of State for Immigration at The Home Office) telling them I think the delay in not sending the BRP within 7 days is intolerable! Let's see if I can elicit some sort of response! No doubt, I'll get automatic emails from both of them telling me they will reply within 14 days!

LATER EDIT - my wife telephoned UKBA this afternoon, and I managed to speak to a very helpful young man. I told him about DX saying never received anything. UPDATE: Our nephew and niece were injured in an accident in Malaysia last weekend and are in hospital, having both suffered a broken leg. I mentioned this in my email to our MP, and told her how anxious we are to be able to travel. We received a reply from our MP today. She has taken my wife's case up with the UKBA and been told there "was a problem" with the issuing of the permit (when we phoned on Wednesday, we were told it "had been produced on 18 Feb" - Incredible!). Our MP told the UKBA that my wife's case must be treated as a matter of extreme urgency! Still not got the BRP though! :cry: I wonder if yesterday's by-election result might prompt some sense of urgency at the UKBA given the Conservatives came third behind UKIP?!
