June 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

I applied in June as well.

Application history, 2 applicants (me and wife):

Date of application: 23rd June 2015 via NCS
Payment method: Credit card
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 27th June 2015
Date of acknowledgement: 27th June 2015
Date of receipt of Biometric enrolment letter : 1st July 2015
Date of Submission of Biometrics: 7th July 2015

Quite frustrating as Its been around 23 weeks (over 5 months) since I made the application and I can confirm during the time since application date I did not receive any letter requesting for more information.
Quite straight forward case, 5 years Tier 1 Gen + 1 year ILR.

Problem is that we are actually travelling in Jan for 4 weeks and if I receive the letter during that time I will miss the 21 days deadline to contact the council for ceremony.....any advice would be much appreciated ?

Hi, I haven't received anything yet. Still waiting.

This Saturday I will exceed the "6 Months" waiting time.

Moreover, they haven't replied to my emails (including the one in which I've asked them to "Acknowledge" my application).

Therefore, I try not to think about it (I've stopped hoping to find the brown envelope in the post).

Anyway, I'm still very upset about their approach. I mean how do I know if the envelope wasn't lost by the post office? Or maybe was delivered to the wrong address?

I hope everyone will get before 25th. Spoke to nice person at home office he said we are behind because we getting more and more applications every month. He said you will get something in 2 weeks time if not call on 28th and we will refer case to case working and call you back with update, we don't have any system to check application status only case worker got all details.

He also said we still processing few April and May applications right now

kamran7 that is their standard response so I wish I didn't bother contacting them at all. Lack of consistency and self-conflicting informations are being provided by customer care staff. As a result of their "advice" my marriage certificate is now officially lost.

I know it is difficult but email them rather than phone, what I have heard on the phone "we are here to help with applications not to deal with anything else". Wait till 6 months is up, send an email give them few days and contact your MP.

If I don't get any e-mail/letter from them by Saturday, I'll call them next Monday (I will just wait for the 6 Months mark to pass).

It's a shame that they do not have a complaint system; that would be nice, so that the big bosses could find out how many people they've frustrated with their lack of visionary management skills

they have replied to my original email, with weekly delay. if you hear nothing by Sunday, I would email them again by forwarding your previous email.

I applied on 29 may and HO received it on 1 June. so its almost 6 months and 10 days with a generalized letter they sent me that further scrutiny is applicable to my application bla bla bla.

I am waiting too . I applied on 16th of June - so, next week it will be 6 months (exactly on my birthday). Had nothing from them at all ... Have to say I got my invitation for biometrics only on 7th of November (after I wrote 5 "worried" e-mails to them). And it is straightforward application (as they called it)

Finally! HO requested another English language test which I did quickly and sent them. Received approval 10 days after! Good luck to all!

Although it does make me wonder why HO are beginning to demand new English language tests when the certificates people are using were valid at the time of application and used for purposes of ILR!

I feel your pain! Same here, applied on the 08/06, which is exactly 6 months ago today and was only requested to provide my biometrics on 20/09 (again, after phone calls and emails)...

I have emailed my MP today and I will call them up tomorrow to chase them. I need to travel early next year so I am immensely worried and can't stop feeling anxious about the whole thing.

Question for June applicants: I applied by post on 12th of June and got the approval letter on 2nd of December. But my documents are not back: how long did it take to get the documents back? I thought that I would receive them 2 or 3 days later, any experience?

i think they send approval letter and your all documents in one post i asked my friend he got approval two weeks back he got all documents in one post

Strange, my letter says "Please note that documentation might take up to 2 working days to arrive", but I don't get which documentation...

End of immigration journey. It was a very long and Joyful(mostly) ride. Now waiting to see what difference this Red book will make to my life, if at all. I strongly believe it doesn't any but I may be wrong otherwise.

When your case is pending (due to checks or any other info) and might not be necessarily being looked by the caseworker at that time, it can be deemed as being under process.

When your case is being looked by the caseworker it can be deemed as being under consideration. Under consideration can be regarded as the final stage of an immigration application.
