IF you are successful, does your BRP and your passport arrive at the correspondence address or your home address by default?

has anyone done biometrics on or around Feb 11th? I did mine on February 11, 2013 and I called them on Friday, March 15th but they said the application has not yet been decided. I notice most people here receive their approval letters after 3 weeks of doing biometrics. It has been 5 weeks since I did mine and I haven't heard anything. Is that a sign that my application will be refused?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

usually UKBA might take time depending on multiple factors...single application, or with dependents etc etc....
In fact I got my Biometric letter after 6 weeks when usually it takes only 20 days...DOn't worry mate ...it should be fine. Suddenly UKBA is taking long time to process....:(

I have tried this number many times but they never give any update on application, its strange you got specific update on your application.

Also, when I spoke to them on the number you specified on link they told me that current progress is 65% application within 4 weeks instead of their standard 90%.

Thanks/ Ashok

I did mine on the 11th of Feb too, and had my passport and BRP back on the 13th of March. I think it just varies, but seems to average around a month or so.

Almost 4 weeks to the day that I gave my biometrics, however the time between them receiving my application and biometrics was slow. Still waiting for courier to deliver BRP.

When I did this process in September last year it took 5 weeks and 1 day from application to receiving my passport. This time it has been 9 weeks in total. I had to reapply due to change of employer.

That is a really good insight into the time frames the UKBA shows in processing applications.
Thanks and congrats!

I agree that UKBA is taking very very long time to process application. Earlier the overall process used to take 5-6 weeks. I got my Biometric letter in 6 weeks. So don't know when they are going to process the application. Fingers crossed. And they have now called for a strike which will further delay the process. :(
