Have you tried to expedite your application?

A batch of us requested for expedition back in Apr/May and I think we all got ours within the month.

£ 100.00 booking fee for same day applications.

Post by smshad » Sun Jun 30, 2013 10:07 am

Hi,

I am going to book ILR SET (M) for my wife and noticed something new which I was not aware of.

UKBA is now asking for £100 booking fee to be paid after making an appointment. Postal fee is £1051 and in person application fee is £1426.

My question is that if this £100.00 will be adjusted from the fee or is this a booking fee is in addition to the original fee?

I could not find this fact on UKBA site instead they are using term booking fee.

Those who have recent in person experience, please advise.

Thanks.
Shad.

Hi Guys,

I am really frustrated with the Home Office. It has been over 6 month that I am waiting for my ILR. I called them again today and I was told that they are processing the Oct/Nov applications. I think they need to update their website to let people know that the processing time has increased from 6 month to 1 year in line with their policy of increasing immigration fees.

My timeline is as follows:
Date application accepted : 20 Dec 2012
Date biometrics enrolled : 26 Jan 2013

Still waiting
