i emailed BHC and i got this reply.

Dear Mr. Ali,

Thank you for your email of 24 October 2013. Your application is being processed with ongoing enquiries and results are yet to be received. Kindly wait to be contacted.

i dont feel too good. what can this email mean?!

I am still waiting for collection i hope good news very soon
Today it has been 63 working days
If you count EID as a off days then it has bees 56 working days

thanks for the info one last question. i get paid around 22,000 a year but i pay my own tax but i haven't paid for last two months tax will this be a problem also i paid all my tax before applying?

You have until 31st January 2014 to pay tax for year 2012/2013. Its not legal requirement to pay taxes before applying. You can do so if you want.
Make sure its sure taxable profit after deducting expenses etc.. Hope that makes sense?

Sallam guys,
Bit of prob. I am trying to send documents to BHC on above email and their server keep rejection giving reason mail exceeded attachment size limit. It was initially 22mb and now I am trying with 6-7mb and still rejecting it. Anyone knows whats size you sent?

I wonder if you can help? From 11/4/2012 - 01/04/2013 was my first year as being self-employed. I declared my tax and sent it to the HMRC and they provided me with a SA302 showing how much tax I need to pay. Now I believe it had to be paid by 31/01/2014 and I don't have to make any payments before that. I called them today and they confirmed nothing is over due but I need to make a payment off an amount by 31/01/2014 which exceeds £5000

reason being is because in the total income I showed I didn't deduct any for travel to work/food/clothing etc which I want to get amended now but don't know if its a good idea as my wife's visa is under process. Would you suggest I make a payment now and claim it after to avoid not getting a visa or wait until 31/01/2014 and In'sha'Allah wife will have a visa by then and then to fix this?

Hi madasar , I applied in july same month , and my status has not changed , still saying FORWARDED to Islamabad OC , others has been changed in 15 days as far as I know

Salaam everyone,

I've just found this board and have been reading through everyones posts attentively. Thought I'd put my timeline up too. Feel like I've been waiting forever for my husbands visa to come through. However, I can see there's lots of you who have been waiting longer. So am trying to be patient. Anyway before I ramble on, here's my timeline:
Application submitted: 01/08/2013
Application forwarded to Islamabad OC: 01/08/2013
Visa application is under process at the British High Commission: 20/08/2013
... Nothing since then

Made sure we put everything in:
1 years bank statements
6 months payslips
Sponsorship declaration and letter detailing relationship etc
Mobile phone bills
Calling cards
Living arrangements info, how many rooms etc.
wedding photos
Copy of my passport to show when i went (for wedding and after)
Got solicitor to stamp everything to confirm they are genuine and original information

So after all that you would think they'd give a decision promptly as I earn well above the threshold. Clearly not. Trying to stay optimistic though Insha Allah. Hoping we all get a positive decision soon Insha Allah.

housing report
letter from parents am living with them rent free.
p60 -tax
letter from my company conforming am permanent
Lycamobile 6 month call history
slips copys off money i sent to wife every month £100+
wife A1 test and TB test results
wedding photos
solicitor stamped everything to confirm they are genuine and original information.

Salaam Madasar,

You've been waiting longer than me too:( You also sent what I did that I forgot to mention before:
Title deeds for properrty
Mortgage info
Highlighted ingoings and outgoings on bank statements
Wrote a summary of income and expenditure
Certificate of employment from my emoloyer.

Checked the processing times for September 2013 on the ukba website, stats were as follows:
7% in 40 days, 30% in 60 days, 91% in 90 days and 99% in 120 days of a total of 723 applications. So guess it varies although they say they process 95% of cases within 12 weeks and 100% of cases within 24 weeks.

So who knows, will keep praying for everyone. Although, I've been tempted to email them but won't so they don't get distracted from the job at hand lol.

It's been 20 weeks now since my wife submittted the application and no response! As far as we know its not on hold either!
