JazakAllah khair Sameena. Yep really scary. Don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight now! I applied on 1st of August. Really hope you get some good news. This wait for me has been difficult. Insha Allah all things happen for a reason and for the best

I also applied on 19/0713. Now in these days mostly applicant receive RFC in 16/17 week.hopefully we people get response in next week

2 Quick questions if someone can help answer.
Has anyone posted further documents to BHC by Postal Courier delivery or international recorded delivery?
and did they recieve confirmation that these documents were recieved.

What is the email address to enquire about the progress of the visa appliaction? the direct BHC email address not the gerrys customer service one. how long do they take to reply?

But you can't send large attachments though.

I sent via post but haven't received confirmation of any kind. They have surely received them.

Yes I did send few days ago and received the email yesterday saying
"Thank you for your email of 25 October 2013. You are enquiring about the progress of your wife’s application. I can confirm that this case is currently being processed but we cannot make a decision until all of our checks have been completed. We will do this as soon as we can but cannot give you precise timeframe in this respect."

I read a while back that you can actually go to the BHC in Islamabad and ask about your application, don't know if it's true but have you tried it? I'm waiting until my 6 months are up and if I don't hear anything I will be flying to Pakistan and then go to see the BHC.

Yeah unfortunately it's not as simple as that..I queried with Gerrys if I could do that, the woman I spoke to said I can go to the embassy in islamabad however it is very high security and unless u work there or have an appointment u can't get in.. She said 95% chance u will be refused entry.. Now it's a 10 hour round trip from where I live so I didn't bother.. I did try ringing the embassy to see if I can get an appointment and every time I rang I was rudely told to email them and then they would hang up on me..

dont know when their checks shall complete they need several mnths to complete the job that they can complete within few days

Application forwarded to Islamabad OC 01/08/2013
Under process at BHC 20/08/2013
Ready for collection: 29/10/2013
Visa approved 29/10/2013

I sent mine through TCS and we gt a confirmation text saying from the tcs service that bhc has signed for them. But no email from BHC confirming.

My wife has just checked the application and it says

Status Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 10/30/2013

Submitted 08/08/13
Under process 24/08/13
Rfc message recieved today

This is my 2nd time making a application please pray and do dua that she gets the visa
Its taking a toll on me
