is it just me or are visas from Mirpur just taking longer than Islamabad/Lahore?

Anyone else submitted visa on 17/05/10 in Mirpur?
its still being processed at BHC

long wait ahead?

We submitted ours at Mirpur on 07.05.10 and still waiting

I just pray that whether it takes another week or another month, the main thing is we get a positive response inshaAllah

got call today at work 24/06/10 to confirm employment.

Spouse Visa Dependent Tier 1 PBS (used to be HSMP)

Application Submitted :- 17-05-10
Forward to BHC on :- 17-05-10
Under Process at BHC on :- 27-05-10

Decision Made on 03-06-10 (informed by Email by UKHUB)

Still Waiting for Gerry's call to collect the passport. . .

Hi, they asked if I worked there?
How many hours? Full/part time
if I was there ?
When did I start work for that company?
How much did they pay me?
And how did they pay me? Cash/ cheque/ bank etc
the call lasted about 2 minutes

i applied at the start of May but dont know if they called to confirm employment.

when did your update change to app under process at bhc?

Why don't you drop UKBA an email to check on the progress? you may get an update..

How soon could they offer you an appointment and which VAC please?

Bank statements must be originals yes. All the sponsor's documents should be originals except for the passport where a certified copy is adequate.

Edited to add: Furthermore, does anybody know how soon you can get an appointment for the TB screening in Islamabad and then a submission appointment at Islamabad VAC?

I mean the delay between phoning and the actual appointment. Thanks.

just curious how many people on here have applied at Mirpur in either April/May and still waiting to hear from them?

Seems to me, best bet is to go Lahore/Islamabad. U agree?
