Hi Guys,

I also called this home office this morning and the lady confirmed that they are dealing with December applications. Did anyone get the same response?

ILR Card received Aug 21

Sent Letter to expediate application August 8 based on my upcoming wedding back home and also contacted my MP to help same day. MP office contacts Home Office and they reply that "your case was last reviewed on 1 August 2013 and is in the final stages of completion, I am afraid that the advisor was unable to provide me with a definite time scale."
Aug 12, Home office writes to MP that my case has been passed to a case worker and a decision will be made in a couple of weeks.
Aug 21, I received my ILR Biometric card and I Praise God the long wait is over.
Hope this helps and encourages someone. Thanks guys.

Hi there

I am reading these timescales for the first time now, and I'm very much surprised to see people had to to wait approx 7-8 months for the result of their ILR application. I was under the impression that it will take max 3 months (as it took 3 months for my Tier 1 General extension in 2012 - and there was much back log then), but here in this forum I can see people who are waiting since December of January and still hasn't got their decision.

- Is it only for longer residency (10year/14 year) cases which takes time or the Tier 1 General straightforward cases are taking this much time as well??

- My 5 years will complete on May 2014 and I have got leave till 28 June 2014, can I apply after my 5 year period is completed, so that I could save some more money towards my application fee? Or I have to apply between 28 days window?

Thanks

Thanks for the update - it gives me some hope, as I applied 2 weeks after you, and have a wedding of my own coming up. Congratulations and safe travels.

Hi guys am new to this board and finding it really useful,
i have posted somewhere else but wanted to post here also, as everyone here is currently undergoing ILR applications and may be in the same situation as me, please help me if you can,

Need to apply next two weeks for IRL SET(M)
I am British and my husband entered on the spouse visa 2011 July,
he has had a struggle keeping a job, i am self employed and after tax deduction don't earn £18,600 (the new minimum income threshold!)
my question is has anyone successfully being granted IRL in this last year without meeting the minimum income.

Ive read mixed messages some saying if you already applying and have been inside the uk since 2012, it doesn't apply to you,

others say if you are applying for settlement after July 2012 the new rules DO apply to you,

can anyone please shed any light on this for me, as im sure someone must know, please don't send me links from UKBA as there are mixed messages and the way they word it don't give you any confirmation,

many thanks

Anybody from the same dates or have same sort of timeline.....????? More than 5 months now. I thought HSMP judicial review applications might be processed rapidly as we got fewer docs to be observed by UKBA but that I was wrong. Let’s see. Best of Luck to all.

Hello Everybody,

I would like to thank you very much first to my Almighty Allah as I received my documents via Royal Mail today and BRPs via a courier company. I took me 8 and half months to get my ILR with 2X dependents. The date on the letter and BRPs is 21-08-2013.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say Thanks to all the forum members and their support specially ranadawood. This forum is just incredible. If any of the honourable forum members need any suggestion, I would love to share my experience in detail.
Best of Luck to the rest of members.

Thanks Again All....!!!!

Re: October 2012 Application Set O

Post by TP2012 » Tue Aug 27, 2013 2:38 pm

Hi,

Any news?? I sent my application on 02nd October 2012, Biometrics taken on 02 Jan 2013 and no update yet.

WaitingSinceOctober2012 wrote:Emailed MP Today and fingers crossed I will hear something positive.. No complications I can think of. I had 105 points. And there were no dependants either. Part of my income was from full time employment and partly from working as an IT consultant through my own limited company. This is because I changed jobs in 2012. But I had this clearly set out in my cover letter so I have no idea what the delay is.

WaitingSinceOctober2012 wrote:Hi , I applied for ILR October 2012 and still waiting. Nearly 10 months now and I have called 3 times UKBA only has the standard response "You have to wait". Form Set O , 2 years HSMP & 3 Years Tier 1. My timeline is below.

Application sent 19th Oct 2012
Acknowledgement 26th Oct 2012
Biometrics Given 02 Dec 2012

I have booked air tickets for December this year and now beginning to get worried that my passport will not come in time

Is anyone from October 2012 still waiting?

Thanks

It feel it take the UKBA 8-9 months for a normal case.
