help/advice needed please

Post by bl2013 » Sun Sep 08, 2013 11:54 am

Hi All,
I am nov 12 applicant bio done mid jan 13.

I need your help/advice please. only got 5 days to return all info ..Thanks in advance.

I'v got letter from UKBA/Case Worker stating that my application for settlement is based on family reasons and full time employment. However you/I have not provided any evidence to demonstrate this.

What evidence do i need to provide to prove that i am in full time/ permanent employment?
I sent with my application: P60 for 5 years, 20 weeks of payslips and letter from my employer stating my position, average earnings and date i started.

I have copy of my contract but photocopies are not accepted and i lost original some years ago.

Can i get my employer to write me a formal letter again stating that i am in permanent employment?

Family reasons i stated that my mum's health has deteriorated since my arrival and that i am helping my mum as much as i can and to cover this i can sent my mums medical history report.

Your post has provided what you need to do.Yes get your employer urgently to provide a letter stating your employment status with them and also let your mum approach her GP to write regarding her state of health and your mum should also write Home office to the effect that you are taking care of her to sustain the medical treatment she is receiving .
Thank you

Finally ILR SET O approval received !

Post by sanks » Sun Sep 08, 2013 11:04 pm

Hi guys

After a long 1 year and 2 weeks wait I am glad to say that UKBA has approved my ILR SET(O) application on 3rd Sep 2013 and got the letter yesterday.

Date applied: 28/08/2012
Bio done : Nov 2012
Approval letter, passports and paper work returned on : 07/09/2013
Bio Metric card: Not received yet

I tried all possible things to expedite my application but nothing worked. Sent several letters to UKBA, Ombudsman and MP(s). Finally last month my MP replied and contacted UKBA. I received a standard letter from MP with a copy of the letter UKBA send to my MP. It said due to the influx of applicants and lack of staff etc my application has taken this long and there was an assurance that my application is still in progress (which I knew from conversations with UKBA week on week anyway). But the point is I received this letter on 26th AUG and approval this week. So whether or not my MP had a hand in this, I don't know, I'll leave you to decide.

The important thing is to hang in there and try to get on with our lives. I haven't received my BIO card yet but says will get that in 10 days. They haven't given me or stated anything about Citizenship option on the approval letter.

Praise to Buddha! My approval letter and documents came in the post yesterday,on September 9th. and my biometric card should come today or tomorrow. Interesting that this happened exactly six days after my MP sent a letter to the border agnecy, after they told me three days earlier that my application not even been looked at. . I strongly advise those still waiting to get your MP involved.

dependants ILR

Post by smartguy1979 » Fri Sep 13, 2013 5:03 pm

Hi guys,
I have one question. I am on HSMP Judicial review and applied ILR for me and my 3 kids and wife in January. I didn’t hear anything from the UKBA. My dependants came here in November 2012. As per Judicial review documents dependant status will follow the main applicant status. But I have seen many posts that some people were refused to give ILR visa to their spouse.
My question is if any case my wife refused to give ILR what can happen with my ILR and my kids ILR.
Or case worker can give further leave to remain to my wife and kids and grant me ILR?
Please suggest and share experience.
Thanks
