: 26th April 2013 (WRONG VISA VALID UNTIL DATE) - Preparing for correction Apeal now.

I folks I got my BRP and waiting for ymy passport now. The decision tooljust 22 days for me ( 8 days after biometric) but UKBA messed up the Validity dates . My iitial Visa was for 2 years as per the rules prevelant after 6th April 2010 and My Extensions should be of 3 years ( My first extension was indeed for 3 years) . This second extension have only been of 2 years thus I am falling short of ILR now by 5 months.
I am due for ILR in Oct 2015 and was expecting this new Visa valid till April 2016. I wonder why UKBA deprived me of this small happiness of getting CORRECT Visa in 22 days :(
Any personal experience of a similar situation , pls guide.
Cheers

I am bit concerned about my wife's visa, her previous visa type was "TIER 1 (GENERAL) PARTNER * *****" and after extension the new one says "PBS DEPENDANT". I don't know if there is any difference!

The last 45days has been the longest of my life. Thanks everyone for your wonderful contributions and advice on this forum. My advice for everyone expecting his/her visa is to have enough patience as the ball is no more in our court. We can only pray. I believe 99.99% of us will get our visa approved. Wish you all the best of luck.
