Congratulations Yaz107 on your success mash Allah. I was beginning to give up of an update on the forum for today. May Allah grant the same result to others who are waiting.

When did they make your decision and when did they issue your visa? I applied around two weeks after you and the waiting is very painful!!!

@Billo

Any idea regarding the screenshots of the email,am really confused mate as some people are saying that they are accepted but as kaidee said there is a potential harm to include them or the screenshots might be potentially dangerous as an ECO could raise an eyebrow over its authenticity????????????

Is any one here who was successfully granted visa had ONLY included screenshots of email to show evidence of contact????As it will give me an idea that whether screenshots are accepted or not?

Thanks

Congratulations, very, very happy for you :D

Salams,

From what I have read into the matter I would say that if possible use both the print screen method and also print using the email "print" option.
Using the email print option will ensure that the weblink will be present at the bottom of the page and will ensure authenticity.

Personally I don't think print screen is required as it is quite long winded method and has higher chances of manipulation vs printing direct from your email.

In a court of law email would be printed straight from email client - authenticity would then be verified by ISP checking etc.

Links below also provide some insight into email as evidence.

Congratulations to yaz107

May Allah unite you with your Spouse very quickly and give you a Happy Life.

Could you please also share when :

- the decision was made
- the passport was stamped
- your spouse was called to pickup the visa

this will help to see were the bottleneck in the system currently is.

My wife also submitted on the 31st at Lahore, still no reply, still no change in status since day one.

I know someone who applied 2 weeks after at Lahore and they have already got their reply. Im just fearing the worst now.

Aoa

the worst that you can do is fear - cos its just going to make you feel worse and it is really out of your hands.

Leave it on Allah - and see what happens.

It is extremely hard though--

For those that applied on the 31st of March it has now been over 12 weeks.

Have you emailed the UKBA? Can they at least confirm if a decision has been made?

Some Advice to myself and those that are waiting for applications:

Do not be sad - Everything will occur according to the Pre-decree of Allah

Everything occurs according to preordainment and according to what has been decreed. Such is the belief of Muslims, the followers of Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him). And nothing happens in the Universe except through Allah's Knowledge, Permission, and Divine Plan.

No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees [Al-Lauh al-Mahfuz], before we bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah. (Qur'an 57: 22)

Verily, we have created all things with Qadar [Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees - Al-Lauh al-Mahfuz]. (Qur'an 54: 49)

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient (Qur'an 2: 155)

And in a hadith, the Prophet (bpuh) said:

"Wonderful is the affair of the believer! His affairs in their entirety are good for him: if good befalls him, he is thankful, and that is good for him. And if harm befalls him, he is patient, and that is good for him. And this (prosperous state of being) is only for the believer."

In an authentic hadith, the Prophet (bpuh) said:

"If you ask, then ask of Allah, and if you seek help, then seek it from Allah. And know that if the whole of the nation were to rally together in order to bring benefit to you in anything, they would not benefit you except with that which Allah has written for you. And if they were to gather together in order to inflict harm upon you with something; they would not harm you except with that which Allah has written upon you. The pens have been raised and the pages have dried."

The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) also said: "And know that what has befallen you was not going to miss you, and that which missed you was not meant to befall you."

In another authentic hadith, the Prophet (bpuh) said: "Strive for that which will benefit you, seek help from Allah, do not be weak, and do not say: If I had done such and such, the situation would be such and such. But say: Allah has decreed and what He wishes, He does."

And in another authentic hadith, the Prophet (bpuh) said: "Every matter that Allah decrees for His slave is better for him."

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah was asked about sin: Is it good for someone? He said:

"Yes, with the condition that it is followed by being remorseful and repentant, by seeking forgiveness, and by being sincerely moved (to submission) on the inside."

Have you emailed them to check on the progress - you submitted around a week before me but they replied to my email saying the decision was taken on the 6/07/10 - May be you should drop them an email to check the consistancy.
Monday next week is the beginning of 11th week for me.

C42007,

Did you email the Abu Dhabi team? Im convinced they must have decided on your app by now especially if members like z4ydi have been decided.

Have you tried emailing the UK address?

c42007 - when did you send them an email and when did you get a reply?
I submitted my application a week after yours they responded: Decision was made on 06/07/2010.
Ofcouse the timing differ from case to case but my case was not even straight forward, it is so confusing and now worrying for me because if they decided on mine early is it a bad news..? i.e. negative decision or what....?
