does that means the date they were submitted?waitingcitizen wrote:Have been speaking to the Citizensip Division in the last few days, As per the conversation I had with them they are now processing applications in chronological order. They are not precise in giving information but one can go by that Mid 2011 applications or later are not any where near approval stage as they still have the backlog to clear. I would say they would first finish with the backlog before they start with the one's applied in Mid 2011. I would appreciate anyone who has much information on this to share their views.
waitingcitizen wrote:I would say it is by the date submitted. The best option is to have patience and wait. All other quote that you will soon get your approval by so month are only assumptions and only false hope. As applicants the only hope we can have is wait & be positive that it will be done one day.

Nopes i don't think the 5 year residency is done fast. I can understand that spouse of irish citizen giving preference but i really don't understand why refugees are fast tracked over 5 year residency.IQU wrote:i think they do all cetorgery very fast these days.
Naija wrote:I understand how you feel.Very much in the same position as you.But i really don't think we can rely on anything anymore,as I see no order in approval letters being sent out to people. You are hoping they will soon start clearing the 2010,whereas I can tell you for sure that both of my parents applied in January and March 2010,respectfully, and have received their CON's on the 28th of July last year, that first wave of approvals,so i dont think anything is in order. One was on stamp 1 and then on stamp 4 and the other on stamp 3 whole of the time here.I also applied at the same time as you,but still waiting. We can only pray we haev luck this coming time.Good luck.rayr7501 wrote:Hiya,IQU wrote:i think they do all cetorgery very fast these days.
do you guys think that they do the same for the LTR holders...just from asking around(friends and colleagues) , it feels that INIS has cleared the backlog til lDEC 2009...hope thay will start processing 2010 shortly...i applied in Dec 2010 and LTR in Oct 2011 but nothing till now...getting very frustrated...

The 5 year residency candidates practically cannot take any welfare, pay all the taxes and yet have to be delayed. Please understand that i am not against the other applications but i would like to see that all law abiding taxpayers get due credit.
thanks
