Hello everyone,

Help & advise needed. (Applied under category: WP to Tier 1)

Application Sent on: 28th Jan
Ack letter Received on: 30th Jan (dated 29th)
Fee Debited: 29th Jan
Employer Verification(via email): 17th Mar
(For unfortunate reasons, my MD was on holiday and could send his confirmation only on 25th by email.)
Status Check: Called HO on 25th (Status -->Awaiting further consideration)
Until Date: No documents received.

This forum sounds really helpful but confusing as well when hearing about the processing times. No one can judge when & how its being processed !!

Any comments & suggestions from people who applied during this same period?

How do you know that HO have sent an email to your employer. Did you supply your employer email id? I have applied for Tier 1 and have only supplied telephone numbers?

Did you inform ur employer about the possibility of HO verification

HO has genuine reason saying awaiting further consideration as they r waiting ur MD's response...

Everything clear here nothing confusing in this case mate...

just hold on.. it shd be good news soon..

Hi All,

I have also applied for Tier 1 on 11th March Fees has been deducted and got my reference letter. I have been a regular reader of the this topic. I read in some replies that HO will conatct employer or have contacted. The question I have HO contacts your employer in all the cases I mean I have applied from UK so in my case also will they contact my employer. I have only given phone number of my employer so what will happen in my case will my application it be delayed?

I am assuming that you gave the same company's payslips. If so, that should not be a problem as they wil contact the company over the phone..

Ps When was your fee deducted?

Normally on the VFS site, when does the status get updated. Does anyone have any idea about it.

Thanks shubham_arora2001 for reply. Yes I have given payslip for one employer. My fee was deducted on 12th March and got reference letter on 14th March.

So HO contact employer in any case even if you have applied from UK?

yes the HO will contact your employer over the phone or e mail ( whatever is easier or provided) if u apply from inside the uk - u should be fine!

i dont know why but my fee has not been collected yet, it been 1 full week today.. and the people in home office are so not helpful... i dont know what to do now!
